For more tips on creating with the Sweet as Honey collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/89nlTDw3kOE.

Instructions: The ready side-fold card measures 6" by 8". For the first layer, choose a light blue color paper from the designer paper collection and cut a piece measuring 5 1/2" by 7 1/2". Distress all the edges with Peacock Feather distress ink and further distress all the sides with sharp scissors.

For the second layer, choose a green color paper from the designer paper collection and cut 5 1/2" by 7". Distress the edges with peeled paint and cut the lower edge using a solid die from Decorative Medallion Die. Also, cut the decorative Medallion from white cardstock and glue on the cut base. For leaves, stamp the leaves from Classic rose stamp set with Library ink archival ink, paint them using leaf green and Fern Green archival inks and cut them using the coordinating die. For more tips on creating with the Sweet as Honey collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/89nlTDw3kOE.

Instructions: Click here to view a larger image of the inside of this project. Card size: folded 6 1/4 x 4 1/4" - open: 6 1/4 x 12 1/2". Start with 2 pieces of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" card stock and score each at 2 1/8", 4 1/4" leaving the last 4 1/4" un-scored on both. Cut about 1/8" off of one of the pieces at the un-scored 4 1/4" side. This one will be glued to the top of the other 4 1/4" piece on the other panel (make sure to turn one around so that each has the 2 1/8" scored part on the ends). Fold on the score lines making a hinged gatefold closure. This allows for the entire card to be viewed while open, on a normal gatefold card you would not see the front when you open the card to view the inside. Cut decorative paper from the Sweet as Honey Paper Collection to fit on each panel leaving about 1/8" border around each. Cut 2 Sweetheart Borders and one Festive Holiday die from white linen. Fold each Sweetheart Border in half so that each side is the same and is even on the upper edge. Place the fold on the first fold of the "gate" and measure from there to cut off both ends, this way the edges will be matched and even while closed. The inside ends should meet the Festive Holiday die for a continuous border. Set this card base aside.

Use black to stamp, die cut and color two Bee Maidens, 5 little bees, 1 Bungalow, Backyard Blossoms. Stamp Classic Sunflower with Magenta Hue, stamp Wildwood Florals with Tiger Lily, Buttercup and Magenta Hue (the images are colored with Copics except for the Wildwood Florals, they are stamped and color sponged with the Archival Tiger Lily, Buttercup and Magenta). Form the smallest Sunflowers to make them into Coneflowers and use glue to build up the centers with Prills, glue a wire in the center and set aside to dry thoroughly. Form the Wildwood Floral smallest blossoms and add Prills to the centers. Glitter the wings of all bees and the flowers. Add pearls to the border. Stamp and die cut sentiment using the hexagon dies. Decorate the card base with all the images and flowers. The Bee Maidens each hang over the first fold, one on each side so that when closed they meet in the middle (make sure they coordinate so that the card closes properly). They have foam tape on one side only so they don't stick to anything when completely closed.

Make a band using white card stock 1/2" X 8 1/2". Fold so that there is a 4 1/2" part in the center. Glue ends together and having the seam at the top (it will be covered with the decorative hexagon later). Cut a piece of blue decorative paper the same size and cut 2 more Sweetheart Borders. Glue (top of band only) Sweetheart Borders, one on top and one on the bottom then trim ends. Cover band with the blue decorative paper ending with the seam on top in the middle. Die cut Be Happy honey jar from decorative paper with the hexagon die and make a mat for it. Add hexagon medallion to center of band to cover seams. Add pearls to band. Close card and slide band on from the bottom up to first Bee Maiden to keep card closed.

For more tips on creating with the Sweet as Honey collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/89nlTDw3kOE.

Instructions: Take both sheets of the blue patterned background with the bees and cut the tops off of both at the 6" mark. Cut a strip of the green patterned paper that is 3.5 x 12". Mat in the polka dot patterned paper and adhere across the seam of the 2 pieces of blue patterned paper. Cut 3 strips of the light orange patterned paper that are 0.5 x 12". Adhere 1 across the top of the layout and the others down the sides. Add brown buttons to the top corners. Find and cut out the green tree border pattern, some piecing together may need to be done to create the tree border. Adhere along the bottom of the layout. Double mat the slightly cropped 4 x 6" photo in white cardstock and distress the edges. Adhere to the layout using 3D foam squares. Find and cut out the mini orange journal block and adhere above the matted photo. Add the small white tag with a burlap string bow above the matted photo.

Stamp and die cut 2 of the Corner Coneflower image using brown ink (Chocolate). Add color to the full image of one and the flowers only of the other. Use ink and daubers to add color. Fossilized Amber, Sorbet and Spiced Marmalade on the flower portion of the images and Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist to the leaves. I came back and used Chameleon Colored Pencils to do a little shading (Kumquat and Coffee). Stamp and die cut 4 of the small Coneflower Blossom images using brown ink. Add color to the images the same as the pervious image. From the flower only colored images, cut off just the petal sections. Shape all of the flowers and leaves. Using the clear crackle medium and a paintbrush, add glaze to the petals of the flowers. Let dry. Using small foam squares adhere the petals to the full flowers.

Add flower pieces to the left and right of the matted photo. Find and cut out the "My Favorite Place To Be" sentiment and adhere to the right of the matted photo. Stamp and die cut a set of the honey bees using dark brown ink. Add color using Chameleon Pens (CG8, YO3, YO2, BG1, BL3). Add Baby Blue Stickles to the wings. Add around the flowers. Add the HOME title using stickers in the top left hand corner of the layout.

Stamp and die cut 2 sets of each of the Honey Bee Bungalows. I added color to the images using Chameleon Pens, here is what I used from left to right: Bungalow 1- The leaves and roof are popped up, so on one of the images just color that portion. Color the entire images of the other. Pens used: YO2, YO3, OL3, NU3, BR2, PK3, GR1, CG8, BG1. Add Stickles to the window. Bungalow 2- The roof and the landscaping are popped up on this one. So on one images color just those, on the other color the entire image. Pens used: CG8, NU3, YO2, YO3, NU1, PK3, OL3, GR1, BG1, RD2. Add Stickles to the windows. Bungalow 3- The roof, door, plants and window are popped up on this house. So on one of the images color just these, and the other color the entire image. Pens used: YO3, NU1, NU3, BR2, RD4, BG1, OL3, GR1, CG8. Add Stickles to the window. Bungalow 4- The roof, plant and walkway are popped up. So on one images color just those, on the other color the entire image. Pens used: OL3, YO3, BG1, BL3, NU1, NU3, BR2, PK3, GR1, CG8. Adhere all of the bungalows along the bottom of the layout using 3D Foam Tape.

To make your flowers take your VersaMark ink and stamp a total of 6 large and 6 small peonies onto your vellum paper. Now add your black embossing powder and heat set. Once done take the matching die and cut all your flowers from the vellum paper.

Using a glue gun, glue a large and small peony onto one another. Color your flowers using the Pitt brush pens in orange and yellows. Using a hole punch - punch centers for your stamens and add black with yellow-orange pearls into a bunch.

Instructions: Card size is 6" x 6". Cut cardstock 12" x 6", score on the long side at 6" and fold to create card base. Cut fun foam 5 7/8" x 5 7/8". Cut the 12" x 12" designer paper with the bungalow scene and use the bottom left 6" x 6" piece. Diecut the preprinted bungalow, honey pot and honey dipper from the paper collection. Diecut them two more times from black cardstock. When the glue has dried, cover them with VersaMark and sprinkle with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Other Products: Bone folder, heat gun, antistatic pad, white card for stamping and die cutting, White Linen Card, Versacolor white Pigment Ink, White Embossing Powder, Distress Ink Broken China, Versafine Ink Smokey Grey, turquoise blue rhinestone any brand.

For more tips on creating with the Sweet as Honey collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/89nlTDw3kOE.

For more tips on creating with the Butterfly Dreams collection, watch the tutorialat https://youtu.be/uCKKJfAQFHA.

Instructions: Card size is 6 1/4" x 5 1/2". I like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. TIP: Use an antistatic pad to wipe your vellum and cardstock first before stamping, it creates a static free environment so that only your stamped image is embossed. When using a heat gun, don't get too close to your cardstock or it will get a brown tinge. Using the Butterfly Kisses stamp set, stamp the butterfly on white cardstock using your White Versacolor Ink, then cover completely in white embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat with your heat gun. I have colored this image using Broken China. Using the Sweet as Honey stamp set, stamp the honeycomb pattern twice across the card, once with the flowers facing up in the left corner and once down with the flowers in the bottom right corner on white cardstock using your White Versacolor Ink, then cover completely in white embossing powder, shake of the excess and heat with your heat gun. I have lightly colored over this image using Broken China. Using shades of blue from your Sweet as Honey paper pad, die cut 5 hexagons 3 lighter and 2 darker. Work out where your wish your hexagons to line up and using your Butterfly Kisses sentiment stamp, stamp along the bottom of your card, note that you want your bottom hexagon to sit in the first curve.

Cut your card base using the white cardstock 11" x 6 1/4". Fold your card in half, I like to run a bone folder over the spine of the card to give it a clean finish. Using a blue Patterned cardstock from the Backyard Blossoms Paper Pad, cut your front mat 6" x 5 1/4".

Now you have all your elements done you can assemble your card. Adhere your front blue mat to your card front. Adhere your white card front. First adhere your bottom darker color hexagon in the curve of the sentiment. Using 3D adhesive adhere the 3 center hexagons. Adhere your last darker blue hexagon flat on top of the middle hexagons. Adhere your butterfly with only glue down the center so you can fold up the wings. Adhere a blue rhinestone on the top section of the butterfly.
