Instructions: Cut white cardstock to 6 x 9 1/2" size, score and fold at 4 3/4" to create 4 3/4 x 6" card base. Use from the 5th largest plain rectangle of HCD2-7189 Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Die to cut an opening in the card base as pictured. Use the same die to cut a wildflower field scene from the Backyard Blossoms paper collection. Attach that panel through opening to inside of card. Using from the HCD2-7190 Frame a Card Leafy Borders Die, use the 2nd and 3rd largest border to die cut from yellow paper in the collection. Next, use the same border outlines with the coordinating size leafy border to diecut from white cardstock. Attach the white borders onto coordinating yellow borders. Sponge the outside and inside edges of the card base with Sunflower ink. Use the same ink to sponge the edges of borders. Use dimensional adhesive to attach borders onto the card base as shown.

Stamp the coneflower from HCPC-3826 Blossoming Coneflower, floral spray from HCPC-3827 Backyard Blossoms and floral spray from HCPC-3828 Garden's Edge Coneflower stamp set in Archival Black ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating dies.

Use the Stack and Store daubers along with the following inks to color the images. Use the Buttercup ink at the bottom tips of coneflower petals. Next add some Vibrant Fuchsia to petal centers. Add a pop of Cactus Flower to the innermost part of petals, right next to the cone. Use Vivid Chartreuse on the cones, along with a pop of Buttercup ink. For the little flower sprays, use Cactus Flower and a touch of Buttercup ink. For all the leaves, use Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green ink. Cut 'Friendship in Bloom' sentiment from the paper collection and sponge edges with the Sunflower ink.

Use a scissors to cut in between some of the coneflower petals to allow for more dimension. Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to shape the coneflowers, floral sprays and leaves. Use glue and dimensional adhesive to attach everything onto card as shown. Trim apart some of the leafy sprays and top left of coneflower border as needed. Use Dries Clear glue to add a touch of glitter over the flowers, leaves and rest of card as desired.

For more tips on creating with the Backyard Blossoms collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/swO34-n1HNc.

Instructions: Score a piece of 11" x 6.5" Berry Burst card at 5.5" and fold in half to create a 5.5" x 6.5" card base.

Select the paper from the pad and cut to 5" x 6", ink around the edges in Berry Burst ink and adhere to the card base.

Cut a 3" x 6" piece of vellum and die cut the fleur border to one side of the vellum. Lightly ink the border with Old Olive ink and the top and bottom edges with Berry Burst. Adhere to the base card using double sided tape along the longest straight edge of the vellum.

Make the Coneflowers: Stamp each flower twice onto white cardstock, using black Stazon ink and colour with Kuretake water colour pens. When dry, diecut the flowers and ink the edges with Berry Burst and Old Olive inks, shape the die cuts using the flower shaping tools. Cut the flower heads off the second stamped image, shape, then glue the head of the flower to the complete flower diecut to give a decoupage effect. Add Nuvo drops to the head of the flower and sprinkle with Gala Glitz, allow to dry and spray lightly with spray and sparkle.

Position the flowers onto the card using a glue gun using some of the off cut leaves amongst the flowers.

Find the matching tag for the chosen paper and die cut. Stamp the sentiment in Olive green ink and clear embossing powder, heat emboss. Ink around the edges using Old Olive. Add a ribbon to the tag and adhere to the card using foam pads. Add some leaves to the side of the sentiment tag and a sprig of greenery to the side of the tag.

For more tips on creating with the Backyard Blossoms collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/swO34-n1HNc.

Instructions: Cut and score a 6x6 inch card base out of black cardstock. Take the 6x6 background from the Backyard Blossoms Paper pad and trim the background down to a 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 inches square. Lightly distress the edges with scissors or a distress tool. Use the concave die from the Decorative Medallion set and die cut the left side of the background paper. Using the same die, die cut from a separate piece of black cardstock and set aside to be later adhered.

Die cut the tag from the paper pad using the Luggage and Tags die. Fold a strand of ribbon in half and loop through the hole in the tag and pull through. Cut off any excess ribbon leaving about 2 inches and set aside. Using the ticket die, die cut the sentiment ticket from the Paper Pad and set aside.

Stamp and die cut two single coneflowers from the Garden's Edge Coneflower set (1.75"x 2.5") and two leafy accents (2.25" x 3") from the same set in black ink on white cardstock. Stamp and die cut the smaller coneflower from the Blossoming Coneflower Set in black ink. Color using Zig markers.

Adhere the printed panel to the card base without adhering the inner die cut details. Adhere the black cardstock Decorative Medallion die cut along the right side of the card (mirrored against the left side) without adhering the intricate details by only gluing the side. Tuck the leafy accents in the left and right corner of the card as shown.

Adhere the tag using dimensional foam mounting tape, taking one of the Garden's edge coneflower and position it on the middle left side of the card. Add foam mounting tape to the head of the flower to prop it up against the die cut background. Arrange coneflowers using foam tape, as shown. Adhere sentiment.

It is safe now to glue down any intricate details from the Decorative Medallion die cuts that may be sticking up. Take a few strands of excelsior, fold in half and twist the bottom to form a tiny bushel and add glue to the ends. Do this twice, for each side of the tag and tuck using a chopstick or other tool behind the flower heads, stems, or wherever desired. Add glitter to the flower petals or wherever you want shine. Lastly, place four dots of Ebony black Nuvo Crystal Drops to each corner of the card and allow to dry.

Instructions: The ready side fold card measures 6" by 8". For top panel choose the paper from Backyard Blossom Paper Collection and cut the size measuring 5 1/2" by 7 1/2". Distress the edges with the help of a distressing tool or sharp scissors. Glue it on a white cardstock, 1/8th of an inch larger than the distressed panel and further layer it on the card base. Cut a frame by stacking Intricate Swirl Frames Die from white cardstock. Layer it on the ready card panel.

Stamp 2-3 images from Backyard Blossoms Cling Stamp Set and Garden's Edge Coneflower Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock and cut them using their coordinating dies. Once cut, paint them using Leaf Green, Fern Green Archival, and Rose Madder. With the help of sponge, apply adhesive that dries clear and sprinkle prills. Dust extras and leave it to dry.

For Coneflowers: Stamp images from Blossoming Coneflower Cling Stamp Set and Backyard Blossoms Cling Stamp Set and Garden's Edge Coneflower Cling Stamp Set with black archival ink and color them using Fern Green and Leaf Green Archival inks. Next, stamp and cut a few images of flowers from Classic Sunflower stamp and die set and color them using Rose madder and Magenta Hue. Shape the flowers using Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Cut the petals in half and layer them together to create a half flower. Now glue these flowers on the colored coneflowers and trim extra stamped image that is hanging out. Add a glossy accent to the cone center and add black color prills. Dust extras and set them aside for drying.

Vellum Butterflies: Stamp the images from Butterfly Medley Cling stamp set with VersaMark on Papericious Vellum sheet and sprinkle White heat embossing powder. Heat set it with the heat tool and cut them using its coordinating die. Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown, giving some dimensions to all the embellishments. Add Crystal Clear glitter to further enhance the card and add a sentiment from the paper collection to complete the card.

Other Products: Cutting file mantel Clock Dreaming Tree, Clock Components, Flat back Rhine stones, Images fairies and butterfly (internet), Beads, Miniature train sands, Pearl pen creme, White marker, Embossing folder wood, Filigree element, Silhouette machine, Distress Ink Vintage photo, Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, Acetate, Brown cardstock, Black Cardstock, Creme cardstock, wire, Glue gun, Big shot.

For more tips on creating with the Backyard Blossoms collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/swO34-n1HNc.

Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. Start with Cutting the clock file found here out of all the cardstock and glue it together as the instructions tell you. It is all on the Dreaming tree site if you click on the clock you get the instructions. Then put on the clock components, for the front and sides I used the design paper from the collection. On the sides of the clock you can use the embossing folder, put some brown cardstock in the folder and run it through the Big Shot machine and glue them on the side.

ROSES: Stamp the Big Yellow Peony with Peanut brittle on White cardstock, and the Pink one with Rhubarb Stalk and cut them out with the coordinating die, then color the yellow one with Peanut brittle and Distress Ink Fossilized amber, and the pink one with peanut brittle in the center and the rest of the flower with Vibrant Fuchsia. Now you can shape the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

CONEFLOWERS: Stamp the flowers with Rich Cocoa on White cardstock and color them with the Vibrant Fuchsia, and the yellow ones with Fossilized Amber and in the center tangelo, for the leaves I used a mix of the bamboo leaves and leaf Green. For the 3D Coneflowers you take a bead on a wire and then stamp an extra peony petal, color this in the same colors as the other Coneflowers, then make a hole in the center and pull the bead through that and secure it with hot glue, then fold the leaves backwards, put some glue on all of the coneflowers tops take some of the (Miniature) sand and dip the tops in that, now you have nice pollens on top of your flower! And on top of the flower petals you can put a white line with the white marker.

GREENERY: For the rest of the green and Flowers use the rain Boots and Blossoms collection and the rose Classic Rose vine, and the backyard Blossoms. Stamp them on white cardstock with the Rich Cocoa and color them with a mix of Bamboo leaves and leaf Green, on the rose leaves you can put some Vintage photo too then cut all the leaves and flowers with the coordinating dies and shape them with the Deluxe Shaping tool set! On some of the petals you can glue some flat back Rhinestones and on top of some flower branches add some pearl pen dots.

Cut out the fairies and Butterfly and put glue on the wings and on top of that some Crystallos Shard Glass, let them dry, behind the flying fairy you can put a piece of acetate then it will fly in front of the clock cover the acetate with some leaves. The other fairy is sitting on the right side corner with a flat back Rhinestone in his hand. Now make a nice arrangement on top of the clock with all the flowers you like. Glue the filligree element on the bottom front of the clock and at last put a battery in the clock! Done!

Instructions: Click here to view the inside of this card. Card size: 6 x 6 1/2". Cover each panel of foldout card (see video for cutting paper) with the Backyard Blossoms Paper Collection. Die cut borders out of peach card stock and cut narrow borders using the plain edge of the Fleur Borders out of lavender card stock. Cut back border from peach using two of the Delicate Boders and the lavender narrow border using the plain die from the Classic Border set. Die cut a lavender and a peach using the Festive Holiday Die and one each using the Decorative Medallion Die. Glue the lavender Decorative Medallion to the back of the card on the right side leaving at least half sticking out from the edge then glue the peach one on (the lavender will appear on top from the front). On the other side, glue the peach Festive Holiday die to the back of the third panel (third from the front) at an angle and then glue the lavender Festive Holiday die on top of the peach. Cut one pocket from lavender. Cut a rectangle tag and an oval tag from decorative paper.

Stamp, die cut and color the fairies, blossoms, birds, critters, and coneflowers with Copic Markers. Glitter all flowers, fairy wings, and butterflies. On the back panel glue sitting fairy to log on paper, glue one of the birds to top right corner and glue some of the blossoms to the bottom area. On the inside of third panel glue the lavender pocket to bottom right and insert tags. Glue some of the blossoms on the left side of the bottom next to the pocket. On the back side of the same panel, glue the tall coneflower over the Festive Holiday die and then glue a short one next to it (one coral and one purple). Inside second panel, glue standing fairy to left bottom and the little bird and branch to top left. Glue small coneflowers to bottom right. Inside first panel die cut the paper with wheat stocks using the wheat stock die from Backyard Blossoms and then glue them on top of decorative paper. Glue tiny butterflies and bunny on the bottom. On the outside of the last panel glue two coneflowers (one purple and one coral) to the left side. Stamp It's Your Birthday on decorative paper and die cut with oval die then mat with another oval cut from peach card stock and glue these together then onto the front right bottom. Glue a bird at the top left on top on one of the coneflowers.

Now make a 3D coneflower using the sunflower stamp and die set. Sponge deep Purple color onto petals front and back. Shape by misting flower from the back, place face side down on shaping mat and starting from the outside, use tool to draw petals inward. Pierce hole in the center and insert a wired stamen (color wire with green ink) from the top (stamen will stick up). Fold flower in half and even tuck sides in to make it look more like a coneflower, then start adding 3D type glue to the stamen and rounded top of the flower to cover with Prills (Mix Go Man Go with Express-O Yourself). Add more glue and more Prills until you have a rounded cone center. Let dry completely, then glue flower to front panel. Tie a triple bow with lavender ribbon (or dyed seam binding) and glue to the front at the bottom of the stems.

For more tips on creating with the Backyard Blossoms collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/swO34-n1HNc.

Instructions: 12" x 12" layout. The coral colored patterned paper is the background. I inked the edges using brown ink (Coffee). Using a blending tool add color (Gingersnap) to the middle of the layout using a blending tool. Using the pink mister (HS Pink), splatter around the color you just added. Using white paint, splatter around that same area.

Cut one of the large Eyelet Lace Frame from white cardstock. Cut your photo to suit the frame, and mat it in one layer of white cardstock and distress the edges. Adhere these layers together using crafty foam tape. Cut a strip of the dark coral patterned paper that is 0.75x10 and tear both ends. Adhere across the middle of the layout. Adhere the matted and framed photo to the layout using crafty foam tape.

Stamp and die cut 2 of the corner Coneflower images using brown ink. Add color to the full image of one and the flowers only of the other. Use ink and daubers to add color. Fossilized Amber, Ruby and Abandoned Coral for the flowers and Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves. I came back and used Chameleon Colored Pencils to do a little shading (Watermelon and Coffee). Stamp and die cut 2 of the larger and smaller Coneflower images using brown ink. Add color using the same technique as the corner image. Stamp and die cut 3 of the spriggy Backyard Blossoms using brown ink. Add color to the leafy bottoms using light green ink (Lemon Lime Twist).

Using a liquid adhesive to add white/pearl Prills to the pom pom bits of the Backyard Blossom spriggy images. Let dry. From the flower only colored images, cut off just the petal sections. Shape all of the flowers and leaves. Using the clear crackle medium and a paintbrush, add glaze to the petals of the flowers. Let dry. Using small foam squares adhere the petals to the full flowers.

Adhere the corner Coneflower image to the layout using 3D foam squares. Find and cut out the "You Are My Everything" sentiment and adhere to the layout to the left of the matted photo and flowers. Add the large Coneflower bloom just below the sentiment. Add the small Coneflower bloom to the right of the matted photo. Break up the spriggy bloom images and add them in and around the blooms.

Instructions: Card base is 6x6". Cut a 6x6" dark green panel from the paper collection then a yellow 5.75 x 5.75" panel and ink the edges with Wild Honey distress ink. Assemble the box cutting a frame using the cut mat create die as well as a 5x5" scenery piece for the inside. I also cut strips to go on the sides for the shadow box card too.

Cut and Stamp on white card using coffee archival ink 2 sets of classic sunflower; the coneflower images and the Gardens edge wheat and sunflower edge. Also stamp the leaves form the delightful daisy as well as a classic rose vine.

Color all your images using the archival inks on the leaves and the distress inks on the flowers. Create the cone flower by cutting a sunflower in half; and placing dries clear on the cut edge then gluing it down on the stamped image. Add some seed beads to the centers of the sunflowers as well as the small sunflower spray for the inside of the card.

Place the wheat and the smaller sunflower edge inside the base of the shadow card. Die cut the doily from the Butterfly Kisses and cut this in half, I placed this in the front on the back of the bottom frame of the card just to add some detail. Place the curved coneflower on the righthand side and the straight coneflower on the left. Detail all the flowers and leaves with Crystal clear.

Look for a sentiment from the collection. I used Celebrate today and popped this on the front near the bottom of the shadow box. I decided to add some depth to the box by inking the outside edges with wild honey distress ink.

Other Products: Bone folder, heat gun, antistatic pad, white card for stamping and die cutting, White Linen Card, Gelatos - Green Tree, Mango, Butter Cream, Versacolor white Pigment Ink, White Embossing Powder, Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate, Distress Peeled Paint.

For more tips on creating with the Backyard Blossoms collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/swO34-n1HNc.

Instructions: Card size is 6 1/8" x 6 1/8". I like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. Technique #2 on this video shows the coloring techniques I used to color my Coneflowers. Die cut your Botanic Window Decorative die using white cardstock. TIP: Use an antistatic pad to wipe your cardstock first before stamping, it creates a static free environment so that only your stamped image is embossed. Using the Blossoming Coneflower, Backyard Blossoms and the Garden's Edge Stamp sets stamp your images using your White Versacolor Ink, then cover completely in white embossing powder, shake of the excess and heat with your heat gun. Tip: don't get too close to your cardstock or it will get a brown tinge. I have colored these images using Gelatos. Gelatos are a water-soluble crayon which is great for blending and shading over heat embossed images. Firstly, just scribble the desired colors over the image, green for the stems, butter cream for the flower petals and Mango for the flower centers and now you are just going to rub it in with your fingers until blended and smooth, for the highlight add Mango to the bottom of the flower petal and now rub in with your fingers to blend. When you are happy with your shading use a cloth to rub of the excess color and it will leave the white embossed stamp more visible. If you use a damp cloth your color will be less vibrant, just experiment with your coloring technique. Highlight the flowers centers using the Pearlescent Chocolate ink very lightly. Repeat this with your wheat stem. Die cut with coordinating dies. The great thing about Gelatos is you can go over it again until you are happy with the blending. I have very lightly shaped the flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Cut your card base using the white cardstock 12 1/4" x 6 1/8". Fold your card in half, I like to run a bone folder over the spine of the card to give it a clean finish. Trim the selected cardstock from the Backyard Blossoms Paper Collection, I have used 3 pages, the background mat (pg1) and the mat that I have cut the oval mat from using the Eyelet Oval & Basics Die (pg2) and 1 mat trimmed to 4 1/2" x 3 5/8" and 1 insert mat 6" x 6" (Pg3).

Now you have all your elements done, you can complete your card. Adhere your yellow insert mat. Adhere your patterned background mat to your card front. Using 3d adhesive adhere your yellow mat. Using 3d adhesive adhere your botanic window die. Adhere your oval mat. Adhere the flowers as pictured. Adhere 1 rock candy stamen over your wheat die cut. Using 3d adhesive adhere the "Have a Wonderful Birthday" sentiment over the wheat stamp and stamen.

For more tips on creating with the Backyard Blossoms collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/swO34-n1HNc.

Instructions: White Foldout card is 6" x 6". Cut three border strips out of kraft coloured cardstock using the "Fleur Border Die Set" and adhere onto card.

Stamp two sets of the coneflowers, and accent pieces shown, in Vintage Photo ink and diecut. Color using Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint inks. I have slightly offset the coneflowers and used foam dots to give these gorgeous flowers some extra dimension. Snip the various foliage into pieces and add them in here and there around the coneflowers to create three lovely floral clusters.

Tear a small piece of corrugated card, approximately 3" x 1.5" and adhere to bottom front corner of card. For the tag on my card I cut that out of the "Backyard Blossoms" paper pad. You will notice I have also cut a small "V" out of each end, I have very lightly inked the edges with some of the "Fossilized Amber" ink and then I ran this little tag over my thumb to give it a slight curve shape before sticking it down onto the card. Be sure to only add a little glue to the ends of the tag though because you don't want it to flatten.

Using three strands of string, tie a bow, trim the ends and then glue this to the front of the card.

I want to have everyone at my house so I can create everything with them I went to one of your classes in Manchester NH and did the Lush Lilac cards. I have a co-worker who buys the cards I make for his wife. It was awhile since he bought one and wife was asking where I was. Well, I brought in all 3 cards to work and he bought the one I favored the most. I loved all of them, but I dare say I had a favorite Then I showed them to my manager and she asked if I sell them. I said yes and, of course, she wanted the one that I had already sold. She gave me “that look” when I said who bought it. So I agreed to make another one. Time to get busy Boy I can get myself in trouble easily. Do I need help from you.....NO.....but this time I think I will put the blame on you!
