For more tips on creating with the Frame a Card Leafy Borders, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/K_1152Kd2Ls.

Instructions: To create this card, take your Swirl Frame die and diecut on white cardstock. For the center die you will diecut with silver foil paper. Once done using the center die again take some Young at Heart paper in yellow and diecut, but you will only use the center that is diecut and place inside. Glue all the die pieces together.

Now take the Classic Petunia die and apply some VersaMark ink and stamp a total of 7 sets on vellum. Now apply the embossing powder to the stamped images and heat set to get the nice white outline. Once done color each with the Chameleon pens in yellow and orange on the side that the powder is applied. When finished take the coordinating die and diecut.

To form the flowers you will simply bend each of the petals in half. Alternate the flowers by facing the embossed side up and the next flower the embossed side facing down. This gives the flower a nice look by having a bright color facing up and then the soft pastel side facing down.

Align the flowers in a circle surrounding the die and glue with your glue gun. Once complete, fussy cut a sentiment from the Young at Heart collection and glue along the top of the card and then apply some fussy cut leaves to complete the look.

Instructions: The ready side-fold card measures 6" by 8". Cut and layer a piece of copper colored cardstock measuring 5 1/2" by 7 1/2" on the card base. To create the topmost layer, choose a paper from the designer paper collection and cut a piece measuring 5" by 51/2". To the longer edge adhere a half doily cut from the white cardstock using Intricate Swirl Frames Die.

To create Vellum Peonies, stamp the images of large and small peonies from the Sweet Peony stamp set with Hero Arts White ink on Vellum and heat emboss with white heat embossing powder. Cut the flowers with it's coordinating die. You will need 2 large and one medium flower petal to create one bigger peony and 3 medium sized flower petals to create one small peony. Color the images with Seedless Preserves oxides for pink flowers and fossilized amber for Yellow Flower. Glue the layers with Aleene's Fast Grab Glue and set it aside for a minute. Prick a hole in the center of the flowers. Take 10-12 mixed color rock candy stamens, hold them in the center and wind a thread wire around the center of the stamens. Hold them tight and screw the wire and pass the bunch through the hole. Glue them tight using hot glue. Cut the threads of the stamens at the back and add a green color sepal made using Classic Sunflower Die on the back of the flower.

Filler Flowers: For filler flowers, stamp, cut, paint and shape few smallest flowers from Wildwood Floral Collection. Prick a hole in the center and add assorted bead stamens.

For Butterfly, white heat set three butterfly images on vellum and cut 2 layers as shown. Color the butterflies using Seedless Preserves and Fossilized Amber oxide inks. Shape the top 2 layers and glue all the layers together. Add some Swarovski for extra interest. Heat the ready butterfly with a heat gun and without wasting time sprinkle Twinkling Spark Glitter. Dust extras and heat set it again. It will make glitter stick to the details of the butterfly.

For Leaves, Stamp the images of leaves from Classic Rose stamp, cut them using its coordinating die and paint them using Leaf Green and Olive Green Archival Inks. Shape them using Deluxe flower shaping tool and add Crystal Clear using an adhesive that dries clear.

For the sentiments, cut the tags from the designer paper collection, using Luggage and Tag die. Hang the tags on the side of the panel using Papericious Natural color twine. Once all the elements are ready, decorate the card by creating a bouquet on the right side, as shown and adhere the ready butterfly.

For more tips on creating with the Butterfly Dreams collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/uCKKJfAQFHA.

Instructions: To start with, cut a piece of smooth white cardstock measuring 12" by 8". Score at 6" on the longer side to create a side fold card measuring 6" by 8". For the first layer, choose the paper from the designer paper collection and cut 5 1/2" by 7 1/2". For the topmost layer, cut an orange-paper measuring 5 1/4" by 71/4". Cut the lower edge with Decorative Medallion Die and adhere a white fancy die cut on the top. Now layer the orange panel on the ready card base.

Cut 3 pieces of white die cut frames using Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die and stack them together. Adhere a fancy panel behind the white die cuts to create the window. Layer this to the card base as shown.

For Sunflowers, stamp Classic Sunflower Stamp set with white Hero Arts ink and sprinkle white heat embossing powder. Dust extras and heat set with a heating tool. Paint the petals with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide, let it settle it for a couple of minutes and then wipe off the extra ink with a napkin. Cut the petals using Classic Sunflower Die. Shape the petals by rolling each petal on a back of golf tool and glue the petals together using Aleene's fast grab glue to form a Sunflower. Prick the center and pass the rock candy stamens and set them tight with hot glue.

For Leaves, stamp the Classic Rose leaves with Olive Green ink on white cardstock, paint with leaf green and olive green, cut with coordinating die and shape.

For Lush Lilacs, white heat emboss the flower images from Lush Lilac Stamp Set and paint them with Seedless Preserves and Raspberry Pink Oxide Ink. Cut using the coordinating die, shape the flowers and add pink prills to the center using a glossy accent.

For Butterfly, White heat emboss 2 Butterflies on vellum and color them using Fossilized Amber. Cut them using their coordinating die. Shape them a little and layer them using Aleene's fast grab glue. Heat set them again and sprinkle Twinkling Spark without wasting time. This will adhere the glitter only on the detailing of the stamp, keeping the color brighter as it is. Also, white heat emboss a small butterfly on vellum from Butterfly Medley Collection. Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown.

Instructions:  Click here to view a larger photo of this project. Size is approximately 4 x 7 1/2" . I used a tutorial and template from SplitCoastStampers for the watering can and enlarged the template 129%. It still all fits on one 12 x 12" piece of paper. Check out the Tutorial and Template. Cut watering Can from heavy white card stock and from decorative paper. Glue each piece of paper to corresponding card stock. This makes the watering Can sturdier for filling. Ink all the edges with Deep Purple and Cactus Flower ink. Put can together and sponge adhesive on, then glitter with Crystal Clear. To make flower stocks take 3 wired stamen (I did 3 different colors of purple) and twist stems together. Cut 2 of the largest circles and quarter them. Cut the tips off and make little cones. The stocks in the can (5 of them) use one cone each. Insert the stamen and glue the tops to stay. The lilac stock at the base of the can is 2 cones bottom to bottom meeting in the middle and glued together (looks like an elongated diamond). Let all these dry thoroughly. For the next step it would be handy to have a piece of foam to stick the stems in to dry.

Stamp Leaves (with Leaf Green), Lush Lilac (with Deep Purple) and butterflies (with Cactus Flower) on white card stock, die cut and sponge with color (I sponge the flowers BEFORE die cutting, including the back sides with a combo of Cactus Flower and Deep Purple). Die cut another Butterfly Kisses butterfly (cut off the tendrils) to glue to the back of stamped Butterfly Kisses after adding acetate (two strips together for strength). I used Tacky glue to glue the acetate between layers. The wings are glittered with Ultrafine transparent. Set aside to dry and start on the Lilac stocks. Completely cover cones with Lilac blossoms, using both Deep Purple and Cactus Flower blossoms. Stick stems into foam to dry upright. For the Lilac stock at the base of the can, wrap stem, adding in leaves off of Classic Leaf stem, as you go with green washi tape or floral tape. If you use washi tape, glue ends because washi tape is more of a temporary tape. Glue this one to the base of the can. The other stocks are glued in the can along with the grass, butterfly on acetate and leaves. Glue the second, smaller butterfly to the can on the outside.

Instructions: To view a larger photo of this project, click here. I made my own tags out of heavy white cardstock. The bottom tag measures 4 1/2 x 7 3/4". The smaller tag measures 4 1/4 x 7 1/2". Edge the larger tag with ink and a sponge dauber then cover the smaller tag with a piece of the paper collection. Edge the tag with ink and use dimensional tape to adhere to the larger tag.

Using Eldeberry Memento ink, stamp the flowers and I used black to stamp the leaves and the little butterflies. Cut out the flower petals using the coordinating die and then color using ink and sponge daubers. Run the flowers through the 3D Flower Mold and then I used the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape just a bit more. Set aside to dry. While the flowers are drying I colored the butterfly with various inks and then I cut it away from the other butterflies. Cover it with Crystal Lacquer and put it on a piece of wax paper to dry.

Going back to the flowers, add some glue to the centers and pour prills over and allow to dry. Next, I put some adhesive on my craft mat and, using a sponge, I applied adhesive to the edges of the Lilacs and then I dipped them into the Crystal clear. Set them aside to dry.

Stamp and cut out the window and glue a piece of the paper collection behind so that the little bird cage is showing through. Back with a piece of cardstock and apply to the tag using some of the dimensional tape. Color the Lilac branch and adhere it to the side of the window. Also glue the little swags over the top of the window and glue down some of the lilac flowers. Next apply the flowers to the Lilac branch and let them dry.

I took another piece of white cardstock and colored the edges with some ink and then I found a ticket on the paper collection. I cut it out using the coordinating dies and applied it to the colored cardstock to make a sign. I used more dimensional tape here as well. Now glue down the little butterfly. Take a piece of the seam binding and apply some ink that has been spritzed with water and then scrunch the seam binding and allow it to dry. Tie a bow in the top of the tag and it is ready to go.

When you are making a tag you need to decide what you want it to say and then get on down to business. I love making tags because they can become little works of art and are wonderful to send along with a gift. They can also become the gift on it's own, so I always try to go the extra mile on my tags. Enjoy!

Instructions: For Card Base: Card base is 5.5 x 7.5 inches on white cardstock. Cut a pink paper from collection measuring 5.25 x 7.25 inches. Cut a white mat 5x7 inches and attach on top of base. Cut a pattern 4.75 x 6.75 inches for top panel of card. Attach to card base. Using the Tiara Rondelle from Spellbinders, cut out on white cardstock and attach a pink circle you will cut out using the Eyelet Circle Set.

Stamp out 1 sets of the large peony using Coffee Archival ink on white cardstock. Stamp and cut out 2 sets of the small peony (the largest flower in this set) using Coffee Archival ink on white cardstock. Color centers of the flowers with Sunflower archival ink and outer edges with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. Pierce in center with paper piercer to make room for stamen and foam buds. Stamp and cut one set of the smallest peony using Plum Archival ink on white cardstock, we will be using these as fillers. Color with Plum ink and pierce center to make room for the stamen.

Stamp and cut 3 medium peony leaves using Coffee Archival ink on white cardstock. Stamp and cut out two of the Classic Rose Vines using Archival ink on white cardstock. Color both with Fern Green and Leaf Green Archival ink.

To mold the flowers, I have cut an older molding mat in half and hot glued it together to form a double layer molding mat. Insert the foam bud in the center of the second largest peony placing glue in center, attach another layer of flower then add a layer of the largest peony. Create 1 large flower and one medium using the largest flower of the small peony set for the medium flower. Create four small flowers using the smallest peony with Plum ink and use these as fillers. Insert Pearl Stamen into centers. Do not throw away the cut off wire stems.

Take the stylus tool and wrap the cut off wire around the stylus to form a curly wire piece, insert these throughout the flower clusters to add some detail. Detail all the flowers and leaves with Crystal Clear. Complete card as I have shown in my sample.

For more tips on creating with the Sweet Peony collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/L9_MLkvpGPQ.

Instructions: Stamp the Small Sweet Peony stamp set and Classic Rose Leaf Flourish using Black Soot Distress Ink. You'll want to stamp multiples of the medium flowers as we are going to layer those. Die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the four flourishes foliage and peony petals with the Black Soot ink making sure to leave the veining detail visible. Stamp a selection of grey and pink flowers using Whisper White ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, die cut with coordinating dies. Color the gray flowers Pumice Stone and the pink flowers with Picked Raspberry inks. Lightly spritz the backs with water and shape all pieces using the deluxe flower shaping kit.

Once all flowers are dry you can start adding some sparkle. To all the black flowers add a little glue to the centers and add a sprinkling of black crushed glass glitter. To all the pink and grey flowers add some silver crushed glass glitter to the centers. If you don't have any crushed glass glitter, then ordinary glitter would work fine. For a selection of both the grey and black flowers, randomly add a little glue around the edges of their petals and sprinkle with some "Sparkle Dust" or something similar. This has no colour so it takes on the colour of the flower and adds loads of sparkle and shimmer to your flowers. Set aside to dry.

Next step is to set to work creating a lovely watercolour background in the middle of some white cardstock. I did this by stamping some of the gorgeous blossoms using the largest size blossom from the "Peony Bud and Blossom" stamp set using clear embossing ink, then heat embossed with the white embossing powder. This will create a resist for our watercolour technique we will do in the next step.

Now very heavily spritz this white cardstock with LOTS of water, this is very important. Do a few tiny sprays with some pink spray to match your flowers, I used Lindy's Hottie Pattottie Pink. Now the idea here is to let the water dilute and blend the colour around the background. Pick the white cardstock up and roll it to move the water around and help spread and blend it. Don't be too fussy here, watercolours are NOT meant to be perfect, that is part of the appeal of this. This technique is called "Watercolouring". It is important not to let the pink watercolour spread all over the page as we want to maintain white space. The stamping, because it is heat embossed, won't accept the colour spray and so will remain white and stand out. This technique is called "Stamp Resist".

Now if you don't have any sprays, you can improvise by rubbing your Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, face down on a plate to transfer lots of ink from the pad to the plate, now spritz the ink on the plate with some water and using a paint brush, you can brush some of this colour onto the white cardstock & like before, using the water to blend and spread the colour. You may need to do this a couple of times though to intensify the colour. This works with Distress Inks because they are a water-based ink. It is important to spray the water onto the white cardstock before you add any colour, otherwise you will not be able to blend the pink. Allow to dry, it will be warped, but it will flatten once we adhere it to the pink paper.

Use the Black Soot ink pad to colour the chipboard by simply just wiping the inkpad, face down, over the chipboard. Set aside.

Now tear the white cardstock, as per sample layout. Being sure to tear it towards you in a wavy and controlled fashion, to create a nice fluted edge. Using a generous amount of tape on all four sides, and center to securely adhere the white cardstock to the pink "Sweet Peony" paper. Mat photos onto some black cardstock then adhere using foam tape, adhere onto layout as shown. Glue all flowers and foliage to layout as shown. Lastly adhere the black chipboard as shown.

Instructions: Create a Bendi fold Card by following these easy and wonderful instructions by Susan Campfield, tutorial here. I altered the instructions by using the Delicate Border Basics die rather than cutting the flaps freehand. Choose a pattern paper from Sweet Peony Paper collection and die cut it for layering the flaps. Sponge the edges with Leaf Green Archival ink and adhere it on the card base.

Stamp peony flowers using Leaf Green Archival and die cut with coordinating die. Slightly color with Vibrant Fuchsia ink and shape them. Glue flowers together, piercing a hole in the center of each flower and add a stamen. Similarly stamp some dogwood flowers using Vibrant Fuchsia ink and color with the same ink. Shape them with Deluxe flower shaping kit. Stamp some leaves from Rain Boots and Blossom stamp using Leaf Green Archival ink and color them with Leaf Green and Library Green ink.

Glue flowers and leaves on the card base using hot glue as shown in the picture. Add some cherry pollens. Cut a sentiment from the same paper collection, mat with white cardstock. Distress the edges of the sentiment and apply glitter on it. Adhere them on the card using dimensional tape as shown in the picture. To finish the look, apply Sparkling Dust on the flowers using Dries Clear Adhesive.

Other Products: Stampin up inks (Berry Burst, Marina Mist, Peekabo Peach, soft suede, Early Espresso, Tranquil Tide, Pear Pizzazz), Dressmaker pins, Coloured pearls, 14" polystyrene foam ring, Ribbon, Brown acrylic paint, Hot glue gun, Wet glue, Thimble.

For more tips on creating with the Sweet Peony collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/L9_MLkvpGPQ.

Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. Make 34 large peony flowers using assorted colors. Each flower is made using the three largest peony petals. Stamp peonies using Berry burst ink on pink paper from the Sweet Peony. Marina Mist ink on blue designer paper from Under the Sea. Color the edges using daubers and the same ink colors. Also stamp peonies using Early Espresso ink on Orange paper from Under the Sea and color the edges using the daubers along with Peekabo Peach ink.

To shape, spray the back of the flower with a mist of water, use the deluxe flower shaping kit to add definition to the edges and nip the petals gently to create a more pointed flower. Once the flowers are dry, edge with ink and glue the petals together to make the flower.

Paint the foam ring with brown acrylic paint and allow to dry. Tie the ribbon around the ring, then position the flowers onto the ring using dress makers pins. Push one pin through the middle of each flower, you'll want to use a thimble to do this.

Using the green paper from the sweet peony paper pad, make as many large leaves as desired. Stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink, diecut, shape and edge in Tranquil Tide ink. Position the leaves amongst the flowers with hot glue/pins.

Make smaller flowers from the dark pink paper in the sweet peony paper pad to fill any big spaces on the wreath. Add these in the same way as the larger flowers. Adhere a pearl to the centre of each flower to cover the pin head.

Click here to learn how to shape the peony four different ways.

Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. I like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. Using white cardstock Die cut 2 each of the Decorative Medallion Dies for the top of the box and 1 extra of the half circle die cut for the front of the box. TIP: when stamping with Pigment ink you will have to let it dry or set with a heat gun before die cutting and coloring to avoid smudging. Using your Large Sweet Peony Stamp Set, stamp the flowers 4 times - (8 flowers in total, I used 4 for each large flower) using your Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink. Using the Large Sweet Peony Stamp set stamp the large leaf 4 times, the medium and small leaves 2 times each using the Color Box Olive Pastel Ink. Using your Small Sweet Peony Stamp set, stamp the largest double peony 6 times - (12 flowers in total, I used 3 for each small flower). Using your Peony Bud and Blossom stamp set, stamp your Large bud once using a mixture of the Olive Pastel on the leaves and the Worn Lipstick on the bud, repeat this 4 more times with the small bud stamp. When your stamped images have dried, use your stack and store daubers to color your flowers using the Brilliance Pearlescent Coral and the leaves with Memento Pistachio ink. Once dried die cut with coordinating dies on your die cutting machine of choice. Using your mini mister lightly spray your flowers and leaves, shape your flowers and leaves using a Heartfelt Mold or your Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Measure your box top and cut the mat to fit or I like to leave a 1/4" frame around the edge. Do the same with any panel you wish to cover. For the top of the lid I have attached ribbon around the edges before adhering to the top of the box so as to conceal my ribbon under the cardstock. Repeat with panels you wish to add ribbon to. Adhere the panels to your box.

Now you have all your elements done, it's time to assemble your box. I like to lay out all my elements first to make sure I like my design and then when I am happy I start to adhere them down 1 at a time. I have used the Designer dries clear adhesive to adhere all elements of this project. Use 3D adhesive on your sentiment and adhere in the bottom left corner.

For more tips on creating with the Sweet Peony collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/L9_MLkvpGPQ.

Instructions: Preparing the canvas - Prime the reverse side of the canvas with two coats of White Heavy Gesso, making sure to also prime the inner sides of the wood frame. Once dry, apply Stone Effect Paste or Texture paste of your choice using the Bricks Stencil with a palette knife to create a wall effect. Allow to dry.

Place the 6 x 6" Heartfelt Creations Paper collection bird and fence scene centered into the canvas and glue into place. I recommend only tucking in one side and positioning before gluing down. Set Aside. Prime the chipboard frame with gesso and paint with Finnabair Acrylic Paint in Metallique Vintage Rose. Adhere the border chipboard to the frame to create a trellis look with strong adhesive or a glue gun and line the decorative white picket fence below it. When lining the decorative fence, place it beneath the fence in the image, so as to not block it and create the look of a second, much closer fence to create depth.

To make the leaves, stamp the leaves from both the Large and Small Sweet Peony die sets in Memento Cottage Ivy and color with Memento Bamboo Leaves with a dauber. Make a total of 23 leaves, an assortment of both sizes for three large peony flowers and ten small peony flowers. For the small peony flowers, stamp and color green flowers, stamp in Cottage Ivy, and color in Bamboo Leaves ink to act as the green stem for each. Once finished, use a dauber to edge the leaves with Memento Cottage Ivy to create contrast. Use both Zig Wink of Stella Glitter markers to accent the veins in each leaf. Set aside.

Stamp and die cut two Large Sweet Peony flowers from the Large Sweet Peony Cling Stamp Set by stamping them with Memento Rhubarb Stalk. With the dauber, color the flowers with Memento Lilac Posies and color the edges with Memento Rhubarb Stalk. Then, stamp and die cut one Large Sweet Peony using Memento Rose Bud Ink for the stamp and Memento Angel Pink for the dauber to color and edge the flower. Make sure to remember to color the backs of the flowers as well. Stamp and die cut ten Small Peony flowers in an assortment using the same ink color combinations as the large Peony flowers. Once you have the small Peony flowers assembled and shaped using the deluxe flower shaping kit, use the piercing tool to slip the green wire through the centers of the flowers and hot glue. Snipping whatever is leftover inside the bud with wire cutters. Make sure to leave a tail of about 5 inches, so that they may be curled later during arrangement. Once all flowers have been assembled, drop a dime sized portion of hot glue into the center of each of the flower buds and quickly sprinkle with yellow seed beads to create the pollen.

Arrange and affix the flowers around the left side of the canvas, aligning them along the chipboard frame to create the illusion of the flowers growing up along a trellis. Adhere the leaves to buds and tuck them in and around flowers to create the foliage. To create the curled sprigs, take the bottom of a brush and wrap the tails of wire around the handle and curl as desired and snip with wire cutter. With a brush, add dashes of Faber Castell Glitter Bead Gel to the edges of flower petals and leaves. Add any rhinestone embellishments and twig nests in empty spaces to add detail. Adhere some small Peonies behind the decorative fence along the bottom of the wooden frame to create a connection between the background and the front of the canvas frame. You can have leaves and wire sprigs poking through the fence to add to the dimension.

Stamp and die cut the blossom in the Peony Bud and Blossom stamp set. Use Rhubarb Stalk for the stamp color with Memento Lilac Posies with a dauber and affix to the empty sky space with mounting foam tape. Cut out background graphic and sentiment from the Sweet Peony Paper Collection and do the same to create layers with foam tape. Add any extra leaves or sprigs to your taste. Enjoy!
