Make a Book Box Card with this tutorial, it's a gift in itself!

For the box cover- cut two pieces of black chip board-5 1/2 inches by 7 inches . For the spine , cut two pieces of black card stock 2 1/2 inches by 7 inches and one piece -3 1/2 inches by 7 inches. Cut pattern paper from the paper collection--4 pieces for the front and inside cover--5 1/4 inch by 6 3/4 inches. Cut two pieces of pattern paper for spine--3 1/2 inches by 7 inches. For the inside box, cut four pieces of pattern paper with uniform design . 2 pieces-5 inches by 11 inches 2 pieces -4 1/2 inches by 11 inches. Score at 1/2 inch interval on the longer side on all four pieces and fold like fan.
Adhere the two black card stock 2 1/2 inches by 7 inches together using the clear glue. Adhere the third bigger piece to this. Score all the three pieces together at 1/2 inch and then at 1/4 inch interval till 1/2 inch gap is left at the end. Bend the two edges together to get curved hinge. Apply double sided adhesive tape on the edges of the black chip boards for covers and attach the spine as shown.
Adhere the pattern papers for the covers on the inside and outside using clear glue. The book base is ready.
To make the inside box, Glue together all the four scored and folded pattern pieces so that they fit snugly inside one another. Adhere the box to the inside base of the box on the right side using glue.
Cut your die cuts in white card stock using the sweet borders die and adhere onto the box and onto the spine.
Add another die cut on the left inside cover to hold journal cards.
Cut 4 journal cards and adhere a die cut on top as shown. Insert in the flap on the left cover.
Stamp images from the Singing in the Rain collection and cut with coordinating die. Colour with Zig markers and use them to create a scene inside the box using foam dots and coloured images.
Stamp many flowers from the classic rose collection and color with the purple and pink inks using daubers. Cut with coordinating die and shape in the flower shaping tool kit. Stamp the leaves from young at heart stamp set with green colour ink and cut with coordinating die. Colour the leaves and shape them. Add pollens to the flowers and arrange them on the inside as shown.
