Directions
The top of this album creates a lovely ambience of Christmas with Christmas tree, bells, fairy and poinsettia flowers. The box opens to reveal four pockets in which you can store your best pictures or even some sentiment or special notes from your loved ones!
Step 1
Take a piece of cardstock 8.75" x 5" and score at .75" and 1.75" for the cover.
Tip: add ribbon on the cardstock before you adhere the designer paper.
Step 2
Cut another piece of card 12" x 8.75" and score at 7" and 8". Then rotate the cardstock and score at 2.5", 3.5", 8.5" and 9.5" and cut the side flaps.
Step 3
Cut another piece of cardstock for the box 1.5" x 6.5" and score at .75" and 5.75".
Step 4
Assemble all of the pieces together and the base of the album is ready.
Step 5
Now cut two Decorative Medallion Diecuts. Cut the backdrop using paper from the paper pad. Also cut the lace intricate die with white cardstock, and adhere it on the front cover at the centre, and one piece inside on the right side, as seen on the pix.
Step 6
For the inside flaps add a border on the edges using the Elegant Border Basics Die. Adhere the borders and designer papers on each base which is .125" smaller than the base cardstock and distress the edges.
Step 7
For the photo wallet cut your card to 4.5" x 10.75" and fold it to half (top fold) and then take another piece cardstock of 2" x 4.5" and cut the Classic Border basics Die. Adhere it to the wallet photo cardstock and then adhere the designer paper.
Step 8
Stamp the Sparkling Poinsettia flower using archival ink-rose madder ink and die cut them with the Sparkling Poinsettia die. Color them with rose madder and place them on the 3D Floral Basic Shaping Mold to achieve delicate detailing on each petal piece, gently mist and then send the entire mold through die cutting machine to shape.
For extra added dimension and detailing, finish off with a touch of hand shaping using the Flower Shaping Kit and highlight the details with archival ink-Plum.
Assemble all the petals and then sprinkle Crystal Clear powder and add golden beads at the centre of the flowers. Stamp the poinsettia leaves from Large Poinsettia Cling Stamp Set using jet black archival ink and cut them with the coordinating die and color them with fern green and rose madder. Shape them withthe Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Kit and sprinkle Crystal Clear Powder on them.
Step 9
For the cover, use the paper from the paper pad and distress the edges and add Stampendous embossing powder and heat it. Paste it to the base of the cardstock. Then add one decorative medallion die on the left side and a layer of Eyelet Circle and Basics Small die with the paper and adhere it with foam tape and adding the Festive Holiday die at the edge of the eyelet circle die (as seen on the pix). Add flowers and sentiment from the designer paper.
