Build A Scenic Gift Card Holder with the Beary Fun Retreat Collection
How fantastic is it when you can use your Heartfelt Creations collections for gifts for children! In fact we know quite a few adults who would love this too!
Join me in making this bear Scenic Holder/Gift Card Holder with the newest release the Beary Fun Retreat Collection. When I was making this it brought back quite a few memories of my childhood building scenic projects, happy times!
Our crafters say:
Heartfelt Creations cards are amazing... fabulous stamps, dies and the best ever flowers using the shaping kit. Also the paper pads are many with fabulous prints for all occasions - Bev Code
Love, Love the cards and layouts!! Heartfelt Creations stamps, dies and papers give so much inspiration to many crafters, it's hard to pick just one, so I guess I need them all. - Candace Noon
I always tell people they need to get your flower shaping kit - if you want to create any 3D flowers, it's a must have. It makes it so much easier and the flowers look so real and simply amazing. - Morgan Vogt
I just love how easy and fun the cards are to make from the Heartfelt collections. These are great products! - Donna Fortuna
Directions:
Using the 7” x 21” pocket and flip fold insert cut 2 of the patterned 12" x 12" papers down to 12" x 6.87". Die cut the Leafy Delicate Border Basics onto the small section of your Flip Fold and cut a 2" strip off your patterned paper that we just trimmed. Using the Classic Border Basics die cut the edge of the card and paper. Ink with Memento Rich Cocoa Dye ink and glue this into place.
Cover the rest of the panel with paper from the piece we have already trimmed down to size inking all the edges on both the card and paper. Adhere two of the folds to make pockets.
For the larger end panel die cut the edge of the paper with the Delicate Border Basics for both sides of the panel.
Cut out two large circles (Largest Scalloped Die) from Kraft Card and two small circles (the Largest of the Dies) out off patterned paper. Ink the edges and adhere the patterned paper to the Kraft Card.
Adhere the circles to the front of your card and the inside bottom pocket. Stamp and die cut lots of the images that come with this collection and colour these with your Blender Pen and inks. Insert these into the pockets.
When your pockets are full your card would look something like this ready for a child to pull out and play with (Build a Scene). You can the decorate the front of your card with your remaining stamped and diecut images.
There are so many options for this card how about leaving the stamps blank so children can colour them in themselves you could also make a play mat out of one of the 12"x 12" sheets of paper!
We would love to see what you make, share your projects with us on our Facebook page!
