Use foam with your dies to create a 3D look

Create a 3D look without using foam tape which often leaves you with uneven areas on your project.  Simply cut 4 layers with actual foam with your die. This will give your die cut a feel of being a chipboard piece and lay on your cards evenly.

Our Crafters say:

I love everything your cards are beautiful. The inks are so deep in colour and your flowers are a dream. - Margaret Carberry

Heartfelt Creations has done it again! This is another must have collection. I always look forward to seeing the new collections each month. - Marla J Owens

Heartfelt creations inspires me to do more. Every month I look forward to a new release. Thank-you - Aline Lauzon

Use foam in a similar color to the actual patterned paper color . This will give the die cut more depth.  If you use foam in a opposite color this will be more visible.  Using a matching color or darker color allows the die cut piece to blend more and give you a more seamless look.  Cut 4 layers of foam and adhere them on top of each other.  Once you achieve the desired height adhere the die cut in the patterned paper as seen below.

Next to give your die added depth ink the actual die with your dauber in your chosen color before running it through the die cut machine this will color the die seamlessly.

Below you can see how the die pops off the page with no gaps and has a seamless even look.

To make the beautiful flowers you will use 1 large and 2 medium cuts for each of the full flowers and for the small flowers.  Use 1 die cut.  Take your flower molding tool and shape the flowers.  Once complete add glue to the edges and then sprinkle with crystal glitter to add sparkle to your completed flowers.

This beautiful card is perfect for many occasions! The Sugar Hollow collection is a sweet charming collection of owl illustrations with several heartwarming sentiments that are the perfect elements for those projects created for "love birds" someone you miss and "whooo's" on your mind, or for ending a note of encouragement. The adorable inhabitants of Sugar Hollow are sure to warm the hearts and friends and loved ones..

Have lots fun being crafty! We would love to see what you make, share your projects with us on our Facebook page! We love to share your projects too!

Beautiful collection and colours. This Heartfelt Sugar Hollow is so sweet and pretty. I like how you show to ink the die before cutting for a seamless background. I've never tried it this way before always after. Thank you for the inspiration.
