Emma Lou has a great tutorial on shaping the poinsettias here.

Instructions: Cut the cracker at 8" on your Cricut machine using the red foil paper from the HCPC-3793 Festive Paper Collection. Assemble using the Dries Clear glue.

To make the leaves diecut using the HCD1-765 Large Sparkling Poinsettia die out of green cardstock. I have used the 1 mm tip from the Deluxe Shaping kit and the hard mat to score lines to indicate veins. Sponge the edges with Bamboo Leaves ink and adhere to the top of the cracker.

To make the poinsettias stamp the image from the HPC-3680 Sparkling Poinsettia stamp with Versamark ink and emboss with gold embossing powder. Sponge the back with Love Letter ink and die cut. Sponge on the top of Poinsettias with Dries Clear glue and sprinkle Crystal Clear over it. I have used Heart of Gold prills in the centre of one flower and a gold gem on the other one. Diecut a snowflake from the HCD1-7108 Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag die, out of gold mirror card and cut in half. Place one gold snowflake half onto box over the leaves.

To finish the cracker die cut the label using the die from the HCD1-745 Luggage and Tags die, sponge the edges with Bamboo Leaves ink and adhere under the flower as shown. Tie red ribbons to each end.

Cut a 6" x 6" panel from the paper collection with the cardinals at the top right corner and using the cutting edge from the HCD1-7120 Fleur Border Basics die cut across the bottom of the panel as shown. Cut a separate piece of the lace edge from the HCD1-7120 Fleur Border Basics die set in white cardstock and adhere it to the top piece of the panel. Adhere both edges to the card front as shown. Add the effect of snow to the cardinals with Dries White glue on the snow on the branches and add Frosting Powder and heat for a sparkly effect.

Die cut two of the frames in white cardstock from the HCD1-7146 Festive Holiday die set

and adhere together to create a circle. Die cut the circle panel from the paper packs in the coordinating blue background and adhere to the front of the lace doily using the Spellbinders circle die. Adhere to the front of the card as shown.

To make the poinsettias, stamp the images from the HPC-3680 Sparkling Poinsettia set in Frost White ink on vellum and sprinkle with Bridal Tinsel embossing powder and heat set. Watch this tutorial for tips on using the Festive Holly collection here.

Instructions: Cut 7 pieces of red Cardstock at 4 x 12", 7 pieces of Green Cardstock at 4 x 11", 7 pieces of Crème Cardstock at 4 x 10". Fold all pieces in half, glue the red ones on top of each other when they are folded. On the Green and the Crème pieces you put tape at the end of both short sides, you can see how to do this on my blog. Now put the Green ones in between the Red ones and tape the sides on top of each other. Now on the Crème ones you cut a shape out of the middle of the right side (you can use any shape you like) then you tape the Crème ones (only the left side) in between the Green ones like you did with the other color, don’t tape the right side yet because we are going to put a pattern paper behind the opening. In the paper pad you will find lots of images that you can use as a background, after you put the background in you can tape the right side down.

For the cover you cut gray board at 4 ¼  x 6 ¼ Cover this with pattern paper, take a piece of bookbinders tape and fold this around the spine then you can get your ribbon and tape this on the top to the back, now you can glue your covers on the album.

For the Shaker box on the cover, I used an empty spool cover the inside and outside of the spool. Now glue an image from the paper pad inside the spool and put some Crystal Clear in it. Diecut a circle from clear acetate and glue on top of spool. Diecut a circle frame using two scalloped dies on designer paper and glue this on top to complete the shaker box spool. Diecut 2 decorative arches from white cardstock and adhere them on the cover creating a circle. Adhere shaker box onto cover using hot glue. Add gold corner stickers onto corners.

Stamp Holly Berries in black ink onto white cardstock diecut with coordinating die. Color, and shape them and glue them on top of the shaker box, add some frosty accent on the berries and some 3D snow at last you can put some tiny snowflake stickers on the cover.

On each page choose designer paper and decorate as desired. I added more holly berries along the diecut frames inside.

Instructions: The ready top fold card measures 6 1/2” x 8 1/2”. To create the top scenic panel choose a paper with deer from the designer paper collection and trim at 5 1/2” x 7 1/2”. Distress the edges with a distress tool and mat the patterned paper on a white cardstock a little bigger than the pattern paper. Two extra layers are added using pattern papers to add extra dimensions to the card.

Cut a 2” x 6” white strip from white cardstock and diecut using Fleur Basic Border Die to make the snow. Images from Festive Holly and Cardinal Stamp set are stamped with black archival ink and colored using Zig markers. The images are then cut using it’s coordinating die, Festive Holly Cardinals Die. Stamp an image from Festive Gate Cling Stamp Set using Cobalt Blue Archival ink and cut it using its coordinating die, Festive Gate Die. Cut gate apart in two and layer them on either side of the top panel using 3D foam tape. Stamp a few images of trees from Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp using Library Green and Olive Green Archival Ink. Distress them a little with Peeled Paint. Apply glue that dries clear and Sprinkle Frosting Powder. Heat set if you need to add extra frost. Layer the trees as shown in the picture.

Stamp a few Poinsettias from Celebrate the Season Stamp Set and Ornate Sleigh Cling Stamp Set and diecut using their coordinating dies. Color them with Carnation Red and Magenta Hue Archival Ink. Shape them using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Add seed beads in the center and sprinkle some Crystal Clear and Frosting Powder using an adhesive that dries clear.

Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown. A sentiment and a die cut from Festive Holly Die is added on the left-hand side, top corner to finish the card.

Instructions: To see a close up vie of this layout click here. The green patterned paper is your background. I cut the black cardstock to 10 x 10" and mat that in white cardstock. I cut another piece of white cardstock that was 7 x 8", round the corners. I added my red patterned ribbon to the white cardstock tying one side with black burlap string. Adhere these layers together.

Cut a piece of the yellow patterned paper that is 2 x 7.5" and flag both ends. Adhere to the layout. I matted my photo in white and black cardstock and added black photo corners. Adhere to the layout using 3D foam squares. Find and cut out the “Merry and Bright” sentiment and adhere below your matted photo. I also added a single red button.

Stamp in Chocolate ink and diecut 1 of each of the following: The Wagon Wheel, the Holly & Cardinal facing right, the Holly & Cardinal facing left. Stamp and diecut in Chocolate ink 3 of each of the following: The Large Holly Cluster, Small Holly Clusters. I added colour to all of my images using Chameleon pens and 1 pencil. For all of the holly leaves I added dark green using the pencil with shading, then using YG3 I added the light green with a 3 second fuse. Once I coloured all of the holly berries, I added 3D Crystal Lacquer on top to give a shiny dimensional look. Let dry. Shape the leaves and begin adhering to the layout using mini 3D foam squares. Do the same with your coloured Wagon Wheel in the bottom right hand corner of the layout.

Watch this tutorial for tips on using the Festive Holly collection here.

Instructions: My card size is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2". You can find instructions for these flip cards on Youtube and Pinterest with dimensions as well. Make your card base and then cover the panels with pieces of the paper collection. I used the Spellbinders dies to cut out the circles for the front and back swing panels. Glue these down.

Next I stamped the cardinals, the wedding bells and the sleigh bells using black Memento ink on white cardstock. Diecut the images using the coordinating dies. I used the Dove Blender Pen and Memento and Distress Inks to color the images. I added Frosting Powder to the limbs behind the cardinals and used a heat gun to set this and it turned white with the heat. I added glitter to the bells and holly and set them aside to dry. When dry add the cardinals and the bells to the center circles. Next I used the sponge and added glue and then dabbed it over the front and back panels then I added the Crystal Clear to that to give a bit more interest to the card. After I colored the Sleigh Bells I added dimensional tape to the back of the bells and adhered them to the front.  Then I used dimensional tape to the whole image and adhered it to the card front. Glue down Medallion and then hot glue the string of pearls to the edge. Next I used the tags die to cut out one of the tags from the paper collection and using the dimensional tape I glued it to the front circle. The card is ready.

Instructions: The finished size of this card is 7" x 10" (17.5 cm x21.5 cm). Taking the white card-stock make a book fold card base. Find and taking the design paper from the collection, use the basic matting spellbinder dies to make the 2 layers of matting. Use the largest size die and a smaller size. Distress the edges of both paper cuts.

Taking the Decorative Arch die and the Spellbinders Oval die, Diecut 2 arches and an oval on designer paper. Randomly sprinkle the embossing powder on designer mat and oval. From underneath the paper, apply the heat to melt the powder. This will give you a look of falling snow. If you do it from the top the powder will blow away. Cut extra ovals from the white card stock and adhere beneath the finished design paper oval. Apply Peeled Paint ink to the edges of the oval. Adhere both matting layers to the card front then the 2 arches to form a frame for the oval. Adhere the oval with the 3d foam dots.

Stamp, colour and die cut the cardinals x 2. For one of the cuts trim away the birds and discard. Apply the puffy paint to the snow and finish with glitter before it dries. Make a triple bow and adhere with a glue dot across the lower front of the card. Diecut a sentiment of your choice applying the glitter by using the clear drying glue. Adhere the cardinals to the oval and a twig behind the oval. Tuck and adhere the twigs in and around the bow.

If anyone has not tried the art glitter glue, I recommend it highly. Dries quickly but is thin enough to move through the metal tip. There is something to be said about using the right product for the right job. I am impressed.

Loved the Frosted Winter card by Patricia, it is just awesome, tried to print it for an example, but the card would only copy upper third of card, I still hope to use it for an example. The Winter shaker card is just outstanding. Makes you want to get started on Christmas cards, but have albums to finish first.
