Instructions: Choose the pattern paper from the collection and paste it on a heavy chipboard using multi medium matte. Dry it using heat tool and tone down the colors of pattern paper by applying a light wash of white gesso. Add extra layers of chipboards forming a frame around the layout to add extra strength to the project. Create textures using texture paste and art basic stones. Color all the layers using various shades of acrylic colors. Shades of pink and lime green sprays are used to match the frame with flowers. Match and tear different papers from the designer paper pack and layer them together to form a platform in the center to hold the pictures. The chipboard are painted using acrylic paints. Coat them with an adhesive that dries clear and sprinkle the frosting powder. Heat a little with the heating tool if needed. For flowers, I have used ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink Pad - Berrylicious ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink Pad - Guacamole. For pollens, I have used Memento Dye Ink Pad - Cantaloupe. Leaves are painted using Archival Leaf green and Olive Green. For shaping the flowers watch Emma Lou's video. Once all the elements are ready, assemble the project as shown. A fussy cut flower bouquet is cut from the pattern paper and is layered for extra interest. To finish the project I added a title "Selfie" which is painted using dusty attic acrylic colors.

Watch this video https://youtu.be/gI8RqHAt3vE to learn different shaping techniques using the dogwood flowers.

Instructions: View a larger project image here. Start by selecting what die you want to use for your panels. For my project, I chose the Spellbinders Fairmont Decorative Elements. You will need to measure the die you are using to determine how big the inside cutout is. For the die I am using the inside opening is 3 1/4" x 3 1/4". Next you will need to determine how big you want your frame to be. I wanted to have a piece of designer paper on the face of the frame so I made the frame 1 1/4" larger than the opening. Now that you know the size of your frame you will need the following, 4 pieces of cardstock for the frame. Another 4 pieces that look like the frame but have a 1" wide strip in the middle, 4 die cuts and finally three 1" wide strips of cardstock that you will use to join the frames together. Score the 1" wide strips in half and attach a strip to one side of one of the frames with the center portion. Repeat gluing the frames and strips together until you have all 4 pieces assembled. Once the glue has dried, glue the frames onto the back of the 4 pieces you just assembled to hide the strips that fasten the pieces and also provide some additional strength. Next you will need to cut 4 more die cuts out of designer paper and also make 4 layers for the face of the frames. I made the frames 3/4" wide. Attach the designer paper to the faces of the frames.

Now it is time to make this card fold like an accordion. The first thing you will need to do is score the center pieces of each frame in the middle. This can be accomplished by placing the frames face down on your scoring mat. You do not have to be exactly in the middle but try to be as close as possible. Once you have the scoring complete, starting from the left side you will need to make relief cuts so that your panels will fold. For the first strip, cut on the top and bottom of the frame opening from the right side of the center strip up to the score mark and then fold the center down. The next panel will be cut from the left, then the right and finally the left. Your finished project should look like the above image. I would suggest that you take your time doing this. If you cut the wrong side then your card will not operate correctly.

Now let's assemble the center panels. Take your 4 white die cuts and assemble them using a small piece of card stock scored in the middle to attach them. It does not really matter how big the piece of card stock is that you use to join the panels as long as they are secure. Once the glue has dried, attach the designer paper panels to the front of your White panels. You will probably find it easier to decorate your panels before you fasten them to the card base (I did!). Weave the panels into the card frame and starting from whatever side you wish, fasten one panel at a time to the center portion of the frame with the relief cut. This will allow the panels to flex. Repeat this step for the other 3 panels. Ensure that your glue has fully dried before moving onto the next panel. Finish by adding any decorations and enjoy! If you have any questions about this project do not hesitate to ask. It seems a bit imitating at first but it is not that bad once you get into it. I have done this card in the past and for a step-by-step tutorial click here the dimensions are slightly different but this will give you the idea.

The Dogwood flowers on the outer panels were stamped on white cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Rose Quartz embossing powder and cut with the matching die. They were distressed with Orchid Ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and finishing off with a stamen die cut from green card stock. The Dogwood flowers on the inner panels were stamped on white cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Vintage Pink Opaque Sparkle embossing powder and cut with the matching die. They were distressed with Orchid Ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and finishing off with a stamen die cut from Green card stock. The images of the Chapel and Crosses were stamped on white card stock with Tuxedo Black and die cut with Fairmont Labels before coloring with a Dove Blender Pen and distressed inks. The Doves were stamped on white card stock with Tuxedo Black and cut with the matching dies before being lightly sprayed with Glimmer Mist Sparkle and dusted with Crystal Glitter. The leaves were stamped on white card stock with Bamboo Leaves and cut with the matching dies before being distressed with Pistachio ink.

Watch this video https://youtu.be/gI8RqHAt3vE to learn different shaping techniques using the dogwood flowers.

Instructions: Begin with a 6" x 6" white card base. Trim premade card panel from paper collection shown just slightly smaller than card base to allow a white edge around card front. Distress card front using gold and brown colored ink. Ink all edges of card front panel as well with both gold and brown colored inks. Using the oval die cut from the Eyelet Oval Die, die cut into card front as shown. Ink edges of oval die cut as well using brown and gold ink. Choose a coordinating decorative paper to mat behind the oval die cut. Adhere card front to card base.

Next, stamp one inking of the draping dogwood flower branch with a light brown ink onto white card stock. Using sponge daubers, apply color to branch, leaves and flowers. Die cut using coordinating die and then shape using flower shaping tools. Adhere to card as shown. Adhere cross decoration over top draping dogwood flower branch using pop dots and a good adhesive. Next stamp one inking of each of the sizes of dogwood flowers onto white card stock using a darker pink color. Add a touch of lighter pink to the ends of each petal and a lighter yellow color to each center. Go over entire flower lightly with a brown colored ink. Die cut with coordinating die, spritz lightly with water and shape using flower shaping tools. Choose the size flowers you wish to use and adhere to card front as shown. Die cut stamen for each flower, ink both sides with a yellow ink and then shape. Adhere to flower centers and then add a touch of glue to adhere prills to stamen. Stamp one inking of each of the leaves from the cling stamp set onto white card stock with a darker green ink and then color with a sponge dauber with a lighter green ink. Once again go over with a light sponging of light brown. Shape leaves and adhere to card as shown. Lastly, on the florals on the pre printed images, add a touch of glue and then glitter!

Instructions: Box dimensions are 2 3/4" X 2 1/2" X 3 3/4" Tall. Follow the instructions for making the box using this tutorial on YouTube. Once you have the box lying flat decorate the panels before you glue together. I cut the front and back panels and stamped the images using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I then used Memento Ink and the Dove Blender Pen to color. I also stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black. Now glue the panels front, back and sides onto the box form as well as the top panel of the box.

Next I stamped the flowers and doves on watercolor paper. I embossed the flower petals and then cut out the doves and flowers. Next color the doves and flowers. Now stamp the leaves onto a piece of the paper collection. Cut them out as well as the flower centers. Shape the flowers and leaves and then add the centers and set aside to dry. I also took the Lettuce Entertain You Prills and rubbed them over the Guacamole ink pad to give just a shade darker color and add this to the centers of the flowers. Set aside to dry. Now assemble the box. Shape the doves and add glitter and let them dry. Once dry, add dimensional tape to the doves and add some of the flowers and leaves to the side panels of the box. Next I decided where I wanted the flowers and leaves on the top panel of the box and glued them down. I took the 1" hole punch and cut a half moon out for a finger hold on the front panel of the box.

Instructions: My card size is 5" X 7". Make card base and set aside. Cut the Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4 out of a piece of the paper collection and glue to the card base. Next cut out the Eyelet Oval Die using white cardstock and a piece of contrasting paper from the collection. Glue these two pieces together and add the half pearls. Use dimensional tape and dots to adhere the oval piece to the card front. Next I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and cut it to make a banner. Ink the edges with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. Adhere to the card front with dimensional tape. Stamp, emboss and cut out the flower petals. I used Rhubarb Stalk Memento Ink and the Dove Blender pen to add just a bit of color to the outer edge of the petals. I shaped the petals using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and set them aside. I took the prills and ran them over the Guacamole ink pad just to give them a bit darker appearance and then glued them to the centers of the flower petals. I stamped the leaves onto a green piece of the paper collection and cut them out. Shape the leaves and set aside. I stamped the dove onto watercolor paper and cut out. I used the London Fog Memento Ink to shade the dove to give it some definition and then I added glitter and set it aside to dry. When everything is dry add the dove and then the flowers and leaves and set aside to dry. Your card is finished.

Watch this video https://youtu.be/gI8RqHAt3vE to learn different shaping techniques using the dogwood flowers.

Instructions: The finished size of this Layout is 12" x 12" (30cm x 30 cm). The photo measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/2". Start by preparing all the embellishments needed for this layout. Stamp, die cut, color and shape if needed the following: 6 x flowering branches, 9 x dogwood flowers, 12 x large leaves plus an extra 6 for the lower edge. Find the pink colored design paper from the collection. Cut this in half and then ink the edges with the Victorian velvet ink. Taking the paper-distressing tool, distress all the edges. Taking the green card stock cut two 3" strips. Distress the edges of these papers too. Use one of the strips to place behind the join and the other at the base of the layout. Apply water spray to the edges to be curled and curl up by rolling with the pencil. Taking the cardboard, trim this so it is a little smaller than the photo. Add enough so when placed, the photo will sit snug above the paper join. Adhere in place. Make a large bow so it will fit almost across the page. Adhere 3 of the dogwood flowering branches in a row about 1" under the photo. Adhere the bow using the hot glue gun. Trim the remaining flowering branches so you can fill the gaps in the flowers fall. These are adhered only at the ends, by lifting the bow a little and tuck the ends under so you adhere so they will not seen. Adhere with the hot glue gun flowers and leaves over the knot of the bow. First the flowers then add the leaves as fillers. Do the same for each side of the photo and paper join. Tuck the leaves under the paper roll at the base of the layout. Add a few dogwood flower sprigs. To finish the layout add a spot of stickles to each dogwood flower petal tips and the draping flower centers.

Watch this video https://youtu.be/gI8RqHAt3vE to learn different shaping techniques using the dogwood flowers.

Instructions: I started my layout by creating my layered background. I used a full sheet of chocolate brown, then cut my pink patterned paper to 11.75" x 11.75". Adhere these layers together. I cut the white cardstock to 10" x 10", but I did all of my stamping and colouring before adhering this layer to the layered background.

I matted my photo in chocolate and kraft cardstock. I used kraft photo corners for the photo. This matted photo then becomes your guide, to create the stamped background.

To create this stamped background, I first created a couple of masks of the large dogwood flower. I just stamped the image on scrap cardstock and fussy cut around the image. I used repositionable adhesive to keep the masks in place while stamping. Using a mask is how you get that layered look with your stamps on a single layer. Stamp your first image near the middle of the layout, using your matted photo as a guide. Use the mask over top of the original image and stamp your next layer. I generally do 2 or 3 layers before adding the brown embossing powder, and heat gun. Then kept adding layers. I stamped a couple of sets of the Flowering Dogwood flowers and leaves on a separate piece of white cardstock. I added colour to all of my stamped images using Chameleon markers. Die cut and shape the separate flowers.

Cut 2 narrow strips of patterned paper that are about 8" and 7" long. Adhere them in the middle of the layout. Find and die cut out the light green mini tag, and add a burlap string bow to the top. Adhere this peeking just above the matted photo. Adhere the matted photo to the middle of the layout using 3D foam tape. Adhere the die cut title word using 3D foam tape.

Layer and assemble your flowers. Adhere around your photo using 3D foam tape. Add a couple of small layered flowers further out on top of your stamped images.

Absolutely gorgeous set. Another stunning display of exceptional artists, designers, and craftsmen/ women! What a wonderful display of cards, pictures, instructions by designers and exceptional videos by Emma Lou. What a treasure chest of information. I ordered this set by phone with the help of TRACY. I am somewhat challenged by computer, tablet and phone technology and she was absolutely wonderful to answer questions, giving explanations of different products and just down to earth friendly. With employees like her, your company will flourish. She was so patient and helpful as I was trying to decide what to order. She even entered it on line and giving me the total cost, after including the discounts. Thanks Tracy for a wonderful shopping experience! My biggest dilemma now will be making choices in your upcoming product releases. I am delighted to have found your company with outstanding product quality. Keep up the excellent work.
