Cut a strip of the darker paper from the pad 1" x 4 1/4" and adhere to the card as the hat band with 3D foam. Cut a strip of paper 7/16" x 4 1/4" and adhere to the top of the darker strip. Glitter the patterns on the paper for the hat front and adhere pearl string along the hat band. Stamp, cut, colour and shape the leaves and the flowers. Glitter the flower petals. Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

Instructions: The rose images were stamped on X-Press It Blending Card Stock with Espresso Truffle Memento Dye ink. The leaves were stamped on green card stock. I colored the roses with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers, but any coloring medium would work perfectly. I used Copic Y02, Y06, Y08, Y15, YR24. The roses and leaves were then die cut, lightly spritzed with a fine mist of water and shaped using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Emma Lou has a wonderful video on how to shape the dimensional roses here.

The roses were sponged with Fossilized Amber Distress Ink. The leaves were sponged with Forest Moss Distress Ink.

The gift box was created from the SVG file called Mom's Garden Gifts found here. The box was cut without altering the file. I used Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. The designer paper I used came directly from the Classic Rose Paper Collection.

A touch of Designer Dries Clear Adhesive was applied to a few of the flower edges and sprinkled with white Gala Glitz.

Ribbon was tied around the gift box and the leaves and roses were adhered. And now the final touch was done by adding some small pieces of baby breath. The gift box is now ready to be given to someone special!

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

Instructions: Add pieces of designer paper to the recycled wood packaging as desired.

Frosted Rose: I stamped the rose images using a lighter ink, a light grey. Stamp and die cut 1 set of the large, and 1 set of the medium roses. I added the little bit of colour in the middles using ink and a dauber. Shape your flowers, I chose a classic rose look for this one, with the middles coiled up. Assemble using 3D foam tape and hot glue. Then with a paintbrush, I added Crystal Lacquer to the tips of the petals and sprinkled the coarse glitter.

I stamped the rest of my roses in a chocolate brown ink.

Warm Crackle Rose: Stamp and die cut 2 large and 2 medium Classic Rose images. I added colour to my petals using ink and daubers. I used a golden yellow in the middle and coral around the outside of the petals. Shape your flowers. Much like the frosted rose, I chose a coiled middle for this one, but pinched some of the smaller petals for a little more dimension. Once shaped and assembled using 3D foam tape and hot glue I added a thin coat of Distress Crackle Paint (Clear). Let dry. The thicker the coat the more pronounced your crackle will be.

Purple Open Bloom Rose: Stamp and die cut 1 large and 1 medium Classic Rose image. Add colour using 2 shades of purple ink using daubers. Shape your petals keeping the bloom open and not coiled in the middle. Assemble the flower using 3D foam tape and hot glue. Add liquid glue to the middle of the flower and add your beads.

Warm Golden Raindrop Rose: Stamp and die cut 2 large and 2 medium Classic Rose images. I added pink in the middle and a deep brick red to the outside of the images using daubers. Shape the petals, having only a very small coil in the middle of the flower. Add a spritz of clear and then gold dimensional spray to all pieces. Let dry completely. Assemble the flower using 3D foam tape and hot glue. Add liquid glue in the middle of the small coiled piece and add your gold Prills.

Distressed Country Rose: Stamp and die cut 2 large and 2 medium Classic Rose images. I added my golden hues to the petals using daubers. Then heavily spritzed the back of the flowers using my mister with water. Pinch the dampened petals, creating an accordion like fold. The more creases the better. Let dry. Then shape the creased petals, and assemble your flower using 3D foam tape and hot glue. With this flower I created a larger coiled middle.

To complete your project, add roses as pictured to the recycled box for a cute way to display them.

Instructions: My card is 5 1/2" X 5 1/2". Make card base out of heavy weight cardstock for strength and stability. Cover with a piece of the paper collection. Next I die cut the corner piece and glued it down in the corner. I stamped, and cut out the flower petals and then colored them with Rhubarb Stalk and New Sprout ink. I colored the leaves with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves. Wet the petals and leaves and use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape the petals then set them aside to dry. Once dry, glue the petals together and shape your flower. I used a finger dauber and applied embossing ink to the edges of my flowers and leaves and sprinkled the embossing powder over that. Once embossed it has a gold sheen to the flowers and leaves. I stamped the sentiment and used the label die to cut out the shape. Next use the leafing pen to go around the edges and I also colored a half pearl with the gold as well. Use dimensional tape and adhere the sentiment piece to the front of the card. Next arrange the flowers and leaves where you like and glue them down. Your card is now complete!

Instructions: This Z slider card measures 15 cm x 13.5 cm when completed. NOTE: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder and all the matting is cut 2 mm smaller each edge. The hot glue gun is used to make the roses.

To make the card base, taking the winter white cardstock, cut at 27 cm x 13.5 cm. Score fold lines at 6 cm and 12 cm. Fold this into hills and valley folds. This forms the background (15 cm x 13.5 cm) and foot of the card (6cm x 13.5 cm). Cut for the card slider, 4.5 cm x 11.5 cm. Cut for the card front, 10 cm x 13 cm. Cut also 2 layers matting from the same card stock for the card front back ground, card foot and card front. This card has only one layer for the matting for the slider but you could always make the 2nd for it if you want. Emboss all top matting layers. Spray the Lindy's Azure Sea Asters to the embossing layers, diluting the color with the water mister as wanted also to get the color running down the card stock. Use the other colors to flick color spots to your work once all the layers are adhered together. When the misting is dry, adhere all the layers together in the following order: The card front to the center of the card foot and the slider to the center of the card background top. Curl the edges of the matting up to give it a worn look. Please note, when adhering all together, leave the top of the card front open. This is so you can slide the slider between the card stock layers.

Make the card base embellishments: Stamp and color with the Chameleon markers 3 of the rose circles then die cut. Using the flower shaping tool kit to bring shape to the leaves and roses. Trim two of the circles to form an oval on the card front. Adhere the oval in place. Use the remaining circle for the background card. Placement is at each side of the card front. Wrap the ribbon across the card foot and making a triple bow, secure all with the hot glue gun.

For the birds, stamp, color, die cut and bring shape the birds with the flower shaping kit. Apply a layer of stickles to the wings and head of the birds. When dry apply a generous layer of glossy accents. Adhere the birds just above the bow.

Make the sentiment by cutting 6 layers of the words best wishes, stack and adhere the layers together. Make the roses, 1 x large, 1 x medium large, 2 x medium and 1 x rose bud and a few leaf vines. Once made, place the roses and leaves over the bow and under the birds.

Instructions: Make a 6" x 6" card base from the white card stock. From the designer paper, cut one of the preprinted images. I chose the green trimmed with butterfly. Cut the center piece and rough up the edges.

Adhere the green border on the card base and then off center the inside piece using a few strips of foam tape to make this part of the card a tad higher than the rest.

Stamp the Classic Rose wreath and color it in. I used the Victorian Velvet distress ink using a brush Water color style, then moved on to the leaves. Die cut the wreath, stickle it and set it aside to dry. Now the main rose, I did not stamp, I just used the dies and made one single Classic rose. Stamp the Vines, color and stickle them also.

Adhere the rose wreath to the center of the card allowing the butterfly to show through, layer the vines and center the rose. Cut one of the preprinted ticket sentiments using the Luggage and Tags Die.

I just discovers Heartfelt Creations at the Schaumburg Scrapbooking and Stamp Expo 2016. As a approached there display. I was amazed by all of the beautiful cards... they were all whimsical and timeless and I knew I had to learn how to do this. There was a really nice lady there demonstrating how to make poppy flowers and I was hooked. That day my mom and best friend bought me a Sizzix and I purchased everything she used to make this beautiful flowers. I don't know why had not discover this before. I am now more than a fan. I have become obsessed with all of the products from this cute, quaint company. HC is now apart of my lifestyle. I find myself spending "me time" making beautiful thing because of Emma. Thank you.

The talent of your design team keeps astounding me - so many ideas and ways to make the same stamps look completely different. I really like the "tile" wall-hanging. I have been inspired me to try my own ideas and now need to rush out and buy more white card. Keep up the excellent work and best wishes from Western Australia.

I am just going to have to get busy practicing shaping flowers because the design team creates such gorgeous blooms... A couple of years ago I started creating a large shadow box with 12 squared sections with the idea of creating a different flower in each section... I didn't get very far with it and set it aside... Well now is the time to pull it out and finish it. Thanks Emma Lou and the fantastic design team for striving to inspire us week after week. Although sometimes I get intimidated by such beautiful albeit often times complicated outcomes, I am ready to move past sweet and simple.

Heartfelt Creations you have done it again, I have my Classic Rose Collection, which is waiting for me, however I have been unable to play with it, due to the fact that I am unable to draw myself away from the Snow Kissed, and Celebrate the Season Collections yet. I needed these beautiful projects from your design team, to start playing with my Classic Rose. Love to all Heartfelt Creations fans.

I have to admit that I don't usually like roses - they don't last long enough. However, you've changed my mind about them. These roses will last forever and will be as beautiful as the day they were created. Fantastic projects. thanks for sharing.

All of your flower petal die sets will get used, but this may be the first die set that will get worn out from constant use!! Roses are my favorite flower to create...always dramatic...always appropriate for any occasion. I am so enjoying that you have separated the larger petal layers from the smaller petal layers...we don't always have room for the larger flower on a card front. Many thanks! Love every project on today's blog! Can't pick a favorite.
