Other products: White Card Stock, Blue Card Stock, Glitter Paper, Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder, Spellbinders Snowflakes View Die, Distressed Inks (Festive Berries, Peeled Paint, Aged Mahogany, Vintage Photo and Stormy Sky), Distressed Markers (Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo), Decoart Snow Writer, White Detail Embossing Powder, Bling from my stash and die cutting machine.

Instructions: To view a closeup of  the inside of this card, click here. This card, when closed measures 5" x 7". To make this card you will need to create several pieces out of white card stock that will need to be fastened together. Start by creating the front cover by taking a 6" x 7" piece of white card stock and scor at the 1" and 1 1/8" marks. Next you will need a 10" x 7" piece of white Card Stock scored in the middle at the 5" mark. Finally the frame is created by taking a 12" x 7" piece of card stock, scoring at the 1" and 11" marks and finally cutting out the center.  I decided to only have a top and bottom border so I drew a box centered 3/4" from both the top and bottom between the 1" and 11" scor lines.  Tip, for extra strength, add an additional layer of paper behind the top and bottom borders.

Now it is time to assemble the white cardstock. Start by taking your border piece that you just made and attach the 1" strips to the edges of the 10" x 7" piece of white card stock. I attached them to the inside so I could cover the seams with designer paper from the paper collection. Next attach your 6" x 7" piece of card stock to the left side of your 10" x 7" piece at the 1 1/8" scor line. Since this card is thick when closed you need that extra scor line so the card will close nicely. Once your glue has dried, attach panels from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection to the inside of your card and then start decorating!

The front cover is built by first covering the front with a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of blue card stock, layered with the Spellbinders Snowflakes View Die cut out of white card stock centered with the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Die cut from Glitter paper and blue card stock.

The Poinsettia flowers were stamped on white cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die. They were distressed with Festive Berries ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and finishing with bling for the centers and attached as shown. To finish off the front of the card, stamp the sentiment on white card Stock using Versamark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder and cut with the Cut Mat Create 1B Die. For the inside panels the snowflakes from the Snow Kissed Flakes and Tag Cling Stamp Set was stamped on blue cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder and cut with the matching die before attaching them as shown. The Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp Set was stamped on white card Stock using Tuxedo Black for both the trees and the sleigh scene and the trees were cut with the matching die. The sleigh scene was cut with the Spellbinders Snowflakes View Die before coloring the scene with Peeled Paint, Aged Mahogany, Vintage Photo and Stormy Sky Distressed Inks. The trees were colored with Distressed Markers. Once your coloring is complete, attach the sleigh scene and trees as shown and finish the top and bottom borders with ribbon sentiments from the Snow Kissed Paper Collection. An optional addition is to sandwich a magnet between the front cover and the right most panel before attaching the layers of card stock and designer papers which I did. As an alternative, you could also use ribbon to close the card instead of magnets.

Other Products: Ink- ColorBox (Deep Green, Sailboat, Red Barn, Sea Crystal, Pink Sky, Storm), Tombow Dual Brush Marker- 942, Stickles- Sprinkled Sugar, 3D Foam Tape, Tombow Xtreme Adhesive, Cardstock- (White and Deep Green), Water Brush, May Arts Ribbon- Natural Burlap String, White Snowflake Ribbon, Metal Tin.

Cut out 2 large snowflakes from white cardstock. Stamp and die cut 2 Frolicking Frosty images, stamp one more and leave it whole (navy ink). Stamp and die cut 1 set of the mini snowflakes (navy ink). Stamp and die cut 1 large tag (navy ink). Stamp and die cut 1 medium and 1 small spruce tree (dark green ink), then using a brown marker, fill in the bits of tree trunk in the image.

Gift Tin: First measure the tin that you will be covering. The bottom of my tin was just shy of 2”, so I needed a strip of the dark green patterned paper that was 2x12. Then I chose the snowflake border strip for the rim of my lid, 1 strip should do it. I adhered both of these using Tombow Xtreme Adhesive, perfectly sticky for a project like this. I then added one of my large snowflakes to the top of the lid. Find and cut out the little Frosty tag, and the sentiment “Warm Winter Wishes”. Adhere these together and add a little burlap string in a bow. I adhered this to the top of the tin using 3D foam tape. The finishing touch on the tin is the snowflake ribbon around the base of the tin. Cut a length of the ribbon to wrap around the tin, and again I used my Xtreme Adhesive to attach it.

Frolicking Frosty Card: My card base is 6x6, I cut a piece of Kraft Core'dinations cardstock 6x12 and folded it in half, with the kraft on the inside. This makes writing inside a little easier. Cut a piece of the dark green patterned paper that is 5.75x5.75 and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of the navy patterned paper that is 5.25x5.25 and adhere to the front of the card. Add your other large white snowflake to the left hand side of the card. Add your large tag with a natural burlap string bow to the top right hand corner of your card.

Find and cut out the small card background that I have used (it has a much smaller frosty image inside the oval that gets covered up), cut down the length just slightly. Adhere to the right hand side of the card using 3D foam tape. Add your 2 spruce trees into the oval using 3D foam tape.

Colouring Frosty: I used inks and a water brush to colour my frosty. My frosty has 3 layers in some spots, and I used a thin 3D foam tape between layers to add dimension. I added a light blue to the base of Frosty, and the snow below him. Once dry I added Stickles for a little extra sparkle to these same areas. The rim of his hat is popped up. His non waving arm and scarf is popped up. The front dangling part of his scarf is double popped up. The ornaments are all popped up. Once you have all of your little layers colouring and attached, then you can attach Frosty to the card, overlapping onto your trees.

I added 2 mini snowflakes up by the larger spruce on the right hand side. Find and cut out the mini tag that says “Winter Wishes”. Adhere to the left hand side of your card using 3D foam tape. Voila, your card is complete!

Other Products: 120 lb white card stock, green card stock, X=Press It Blending Card Stock, Stickles, Double sided tape, opaque white ink, Copic alcohol ink markers, paper trimmer and die cuttting machine.

Instructions: Cut white card stock at 5 1/2 inches x 11 inches and score at 5 1/2 inches. The front of the card was scored and folded with a crisp fold at 2 1/4 inches and folded with a mountain fold. Cut two green base layers at 5 1/4 in. x 5 1/4 inches. I selected the paper with the green boughs and river scene from Snow Kissed Paper Collection and cut at 5 in. x 5 in. The layers were adhered to the inside of the card with double sided tape. The two pieces of designer paper should be facing each other. This allowed the bough and tree from the inside of the card to show even when the tri-fold card is closed.

The focal image was stamped with the sleigh on X-Press It Blending Card Stock. My image was colored with the following  Copic alcohol ink markers. - E30, E33, E35, E39, B000, B21, Y11, RV000, RV00,  RV11, G40, G43 and YG63. I accented the boughs, river and trees with opaque white ink. You can use any in medium you prefer and paper that is comparable with your color medium. The focal image was die cut with the Cut Mat Create 1B die. Diecut the Cut Mat Create 1A from green card stock to mat the focal image.
A tag was selected from the paper collection that had an image of a small sleigh and I matted it with the green card stock. The focal image and sentiment were popped up with foam dimensional dots and adhered as shown in the picture.

And now for some added sparkle - I applied Stickles to the river, snow and trees.
