Instructions: Click here for a larger project image. Begin by cutting out base shape of ship in black card stock using your electronic die cutting machine. Assemble the base shape of the boat. Choose the patterned paper from the Everyday Heroes Collection that you wish to use for each piece and cut those with your electronic die cutting machine as well. Ink all edges of the designer paper pieces using a brown colored ink. Stamp the large My World Cling Stamp image onto the largest sail, and stamp the pocket watch image from the My Hero Cling Stamp onto the corner of the mid sized sail. Using the photo for the SVG file, assemble the ship as shown. Adhere the sentiment strip to the entire ship around the centre as shown. Die cut two anchors from the Everyday Heroes Collection using black card stock. Place a brad through each anchor and then adhere one to each side of the ship near the nose. Die cut the large ornamental shaped die from a coordinating piece of patterned paper and stamp with the circular Everyday Hero sentiment image. Place a brad in each hole of the die cut. Adhere to the mid sized and small sized sails in the centre of the ship. Choose a ticket sentiment from the paper collection and adhere to the very back of the boat. Die cut three arrows with the arrow die in the collection. Stamp three different sentiments from the cling stamp sets in the Everyday Heroes collection onto each of the flags (arrows). Emboss each sentiment with clear embossing powder and set using heat tool. Repeat for the other side of each flag. Attach one flag to the top of each mast. You are now ready to gift an amazing piece of paper art to one of your everyday heroes, or keep for yourself and display on a shelf or mantle. To see more photos of this creation please click here.

Instructions: Create an 8 7/8" x 3 7/8" altered envelope gift card holder from a pre-made #9, top-loading envelope. Decorate the front of the envelope by first trimming a plain section from the Everyday Heroes "boot and butterfly" paper to 8 3/4" x 3 3/4". Use a stamp positioning tool to stamp the newsprint image from the Everyday Hero Newsprint Cling Stamp Set onto the paper with Creamy Brown Chalk Ink. Cover the surface of the paper with the stamped image, making sure to create "newspaper grid." Sponge the edges of the paper with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Attach the stamped paper to the front of the envelope. Trace a section of the Everyday Heroes striped paper to cover the inside of the envelope flap. Fold the flap to the front of the envelope and glue into place to create a decorative "topper" for the top of the envelope front. Use the Cut Mat Create 2A Die to trim the Delicate Flourish from black cardstock. Attach the flourish to the top center of the envelope flap. Stamp the "Celebrating You" sentiment from the You Inspire Me Cling Stamp Set onto kraft cardstock with black ink. Use the arrow shape from the Everyday Heroes Die to trim out the sentiment. Flip the die around and cut the "banner" section on the other side of the sentiment as shown in THIS tutorial. Sponge with distress ink and attach the sentiment banner to the bottom of the envelope front with foam adhesive. Cover a 4 7/8" x 2 3/8" Manila shipping tag with Everyday Heroes paper containing the blue rose and butterfly images, trim the excess paper. Sponge the edges of the tag with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Attach the tag to the right edge of the envelope front, approximately 2" from the top.
Stamp the flower branch from the Birds and Blooms Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. Color the image with distress and pigment inks. Cut out the branch with the Birds and Blooms Die and attach the branch to the top part of the tag as shown, using foam adhesive. Stamp the six small flowers from the Birds and Blooms Cling Stamp Set twice onto white cardstock. Color the flowers with pigment ink. Shape the flowers and attach to the flowers on the branch. Create a few buds, the others keep flat and layer over the existing flowers on the branch. Add black glitter glue to some of the flower centers. Stamp the flowers once and leaves twice from the Botanical Rose Cling Stamp Set with black ink onto white cardstock. Sponge the flowers and leaves with pigment ink. Use the Botanical Wings Die to cut out the flowers and leaves. Create a rose by gluing the flowers together. Glue the rose to the bottom of the tag as shown. Add the leaves. Stamp the leaves from Leafy Branch Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. Color the leaves with distress ink and cut out with the Leafy Branch Die. Glue the leaves to the right edge of the tag. Add a small blue flower as shown. Stamp the Butterfly Medley Cling Stamp Set onto neutral Everyday Heroes paper with black ink. Sponge the largest butterfly with blue pigment ink. Cut out the image with the Butterfly Medley Die. Attach the large butterfly to the tag with foam tape as shown.
Decorate the back of the envelope by first using a circle punch to cut a notch out of the top of the backside of the envelope. Trim the paper with the image of the boot and the butterflies to 8 3/4" x 3 3/4". Use a circle punch to notch the top center of the paper and sponge the edges. Attach the paper to the back of the envelope, lining up the notches. Use a 2 3/4"circle die template to trim a section of Everyday Heroes paper containing the blue rose. Use foam adhesive to attach the rose image over the top of the boot image on the back of the envelope. Trim a piece of striped paper to 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" and line the top inside of the envelope so that the striped paper shows behind the notch made in the previous step.
Create a journaling card to slip into the envelope. Cut black cardstock to 8 1/2" x 3 5/8". Cut two pieces of kraft cardstock to 8 3/8" x 3 1/2" and attach to the front and back of the black panel. Trim one piece of Everyday Heroes paper containing the blue rose and butterfly image to 8 1/4" x 3 3/8". Sponge the edges and attach to the front of the kraft panel. Trim a piece of tan with black dots Everyday Heroes paper to 8 1/4" x 3 3/8". Sponge the edges and attach to the back of the kraft panel. Slide the panel into the envelope.

Instructions: I made the toolbox a little by accident. I started making a 6" wide box with a rounded top and after a few modifications I ended up with a box that looked like a toolbox. To make this box, start by taking a piece of cardstock 6" x 10 1/2" and score on the long side at the 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6 1/2" and 9" marks. This will form the body of the box. You will need to make 2 pieces 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" to close in the bottoms of the box and 2 more pieces 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" that you will use to close in the top of the box. I did not want a smooth, rounded top so I folded the large piece of cardstock to the desired shape and traced the shape onto a piece of cardstock to use as a template. If you are unsure of which end is for the top of the box it is the end with the score marks at the 1", 2", 3" and 4" marks. Finally, close up the ends on your box and decorate as desired. After the basic box was made, I covered the box in paper from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection, added a handle and a few small pieces to make the front look like it latches. Finish decorating with a few fussy cut images from the Everyday Heroes Paper Collection and flowers from the All Geared Up Die set. They go perfectly with this collection!
Finally make a quick and simple gift card holder for that little extra gift. There are a ton of different tutorials out there if you would like instructions on how to make one. Mine was a simple gift card holder with a pocket to hold the gift card. Once everything is complete, fill your toolbox with some sweet treats and present this to the lucky recipient or everyday hero in your life!

Watch this video https://youtu.be/JFrj2XialLs to see how to shape the Birds and Blooms flowers.
Instructions: The size of this layout is 30 cm x 30 cm. The photo size used is, 12.3 cm x 7 cm. Chose the background paper from the Everyday Hero paper collection. Cut the paper and the 2 mm cardboard to 30 cm x 30 cm. Using wet glue, adhere the two together. This gives your Layout a firm base. Stamp the center of the background with HCPC 3665 Everyday Hero Newsprint and the coffee ink. Apply the masking layer on top of the stamped area and to the top and bottom. See the photo. When the masking is dry, apply in circle motion the Inka Gold cream to highlight the raised circles and puddles.
Now, to prepare and make all the embellishments: Using the SUP card stock, make the sentiment circles by stamping and die cutting the circle sentiments. Die cut 5 extra shapes for each circle. To make this into chipboard, apply wet glue to all layers, stack and align, when dry apply a little Inka Gold to the outside edges. To make the ironwork circles and basket, use the HCD 746 Sweet Lullaby die. Cutting to just over the sold strip on the die, the rest will be discarded. Cut this shape x 18. This will give you 3 layers each circle plus two half circles for the basket and top. The same method as above is used to make the chipboard. To make the 2 full circles, attach 2 of the half circles to form a full circle, by cutting a strip of cardstock so both the straight solid strips can be butted together. Adhere with double sided tape. This will form a base to adhere further layers. Apply Inka Gold to the out side edges. Adhere ribbon using double sided tape across the solid line of the circles. Cut foam tape to size and apply it to the back of the sentiment circles. For the basket, do as above only you are keeping them in the half circle and no ribbon. Adhere the sentiment circle to the ironwork circle. Make a triple bow from the ribbon and adhere this to the side. Put aside.
To make the lose sentiment strips. Stamp the sentiment from HCPC You Inspire Me stamp set. Cut the sentences into strips. Distress the edges with Walnut Stain ink. Apply strips of double sided foam tape to the back of the strips. For the flowers and leaves, use the stamps and matching die sets, HCPC 3645 Leafy Branch stamp set HCPC 3646 Fluffy Birdies stamp set and matching die sets HCD1-756, HCD1-157 Leafy Branch. Stamp and die cut the flowers with the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms, HCD1-156.You need 45 flower cuts. Color the flowers and leaves with the inks, then ball and shape using the HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Use the water mister to assist in getting the shape wanted, also the flowers will dry hard and keep their shape.
To prepare the photo: Taking the cardboard, cut x 2 to fit the photo. Adhere the 2 mm cardboard to the photo. Sand the edges of the photo, just enough to give a white edge. Sanding a little more on the corners. Cut cardboard box card a little smaller than the photo. Adhere to back of photo. This will give the photo the height needed to allow you to tuck the embellishments under it.
Now to put it all together: Arrange and adhere all the embellishments and photo the layout base, except the basket of flowers and the last two sentiment sentences. To give the ironwork basket the rounded shape, gently curling it with your fingers. Before adhering the basket, arrange and glue down a few flowers so they fall behind the basket shape. Adhere with wet glue on to the basket edges so the basket will sit on top of the already glued down flowers. When the basket is firmly attached, add more flowers so the basket is full and overflowing with flowers. Tuck a few leaves under the flowers to help with the fall of the arrangement. Place and adhere the last two sentiment sentences For the finishing touch, add a spot of stickles to the flower centers.
