What a fantastic class. Some much informative information. I had bought the entire set and was struggling a bit for the best way to use them. Now I know. So excited to start crafting. Thanks for the class.

Christmas is my favorite season and I really enjoyed today's class, especially the coloring techniques. I plan on creating three of these two-sided decorations, one for each of my daughters and, of course, one for me! I think that even a seasoned crafter can learn from Emma Lou's classes; they have reinvigorated my "craftiness." I am attending a crop next week and can't wait to recommend these online classes to my fellow crafters!

Today was a great day of teaching from EmmaLou. I signed up to especially learn how to use the foam for flowers and now I am set to put the product I purchased to use. Some of the things I learned: 1) cutting foam sandwich is the same as if cutting paper using your two plates and the platform. 2) when forming your flowers use a low heat dryer and tweezers. 3) coloring is a personal preference so best to experience to see what suits you best. 4) hot glue is best for quick application. Now practice..

I have taken almost all of the Heartfelt Creations classes, and so far I have NEVER been disappointed. I always learn new tips and tricks in each and every one of them. In this class I appreciated the watercolor demonstration with the Zig Clear Color Markers. Also, it was great to see how to put those shadow boxes together, and to learn that a project like this is not as hard as you might think when it is broken down into small, easy to understand steps.

I love this class! It was my first one to sign up for online. It helped me break down in what order to tackle the album and how to easily cut paper to fit curves! The assembly of the album was so easy! I have not made foam flowers before but that was broken down into easy steps, also. The tips on making the flowers and what inks to use were a wonderful help. Thanks Emma Lou! You made it very doable! I will be taking more classes in the future!!

This was my first online class and I truly enjoyed seeing all the versatility of the new gateway dies! As it was very fast paced I found it was much better to just watch and go back later and watch so I can pause as I make each card. Every card was just so elegant! A MAZ ING. Each class just gets better and better. This is a stunner project. Emma Lou takes it step by step to make what appears to be complicated into a simple and beautiful project. I love the way you stepped up the roses. The slider mechanism is marvelous. I love taking these classes and creating projects which I would have previously thought were out of my range of creativity. You make me feel like a genius!! I can't wait to make these and see the faces of the recipients for so many occasions.

Figuring out where to start making an album was daunting to me. I love the looks of them, but never could make myself begin. With Emma Lou's easy to follow instructions, I finally feel capable of doing it! As a bonus, I learned how to create beautiful vellum flowers! I've taken a few of her classes and she takes the 'fear' out of crafting your own flowers while giving tips and tricks to help you along! She encourages us to go for it! It is so much fun creating your own flowers plus the compliments!!!

I just love taking your classes Emma Lou. So much fun and oodles of inspirational techniques and bonus tips. Today my Aha moment is when your zinnia stamp flower was colored in the gorgeous Buttercup and Leaf green inks. And you used the second to smallest golf tool to shape the 3 petals zinnia into that really so tiny flower buds with the single stamen. A perfect filler in a bouquet. Thanks to you, Tracy and the camera man for making another wonderful packed full day of creative.

Thanks so much for the great tutorial. Was a little intimidated when I first opened a flipfold inserts packets (and they’ve gathered some dust), that’s some remarkable thinking and engineering! I took notes today…then bought a bunch more stuff!!! No longer so intimidated, very much looking forward to putting my new knowledge to use. Also looking forward to the August class.

Great class for a beginner to learn shaping of three different flowers using the molds. This class is also great for learning flower arranging on a project. When complete, the project can be placed on a display stand or added to a shadow box so you can easily update the photo when you want.
