Other Supplies: Spellbinders Lacey Squares, S4-006 Squares, Canson Watercolor Paper, Blue Card Stock out of my Stash, Basic Grey Cappella Paper, Moon Glow Embossing Powder in Cosmic Pink/Blue, Cuttlebug Corners Die, Scor-Tape, Zip Dry Glue, Blue ribbon Make your base card out of Canson Watercolor Paper. Glue a piece of 5 3/4” square designer paper to the base card and cut corners out of blue cardstock and glue to the paper. Cut a 6” X 1 ½” strip of blue card stock and glue a piece of pattern paper to that; this is then adhered to the card using Scor-Tape.To make the medallion cut a piece of blue card stock 4” square and a piece of watercolor paper 3 3/4" square. Then cut a piece of pattern paper 3 1/2" square. Tape these layers together and set aside. Cut out a Lacey Square from watercolor paper and then a blue piece of cardstock 2 ¾” square. Stamp your image onto the blue cardstock and emboss . Use your square dies to make a frame and secure over the embossed piece with Scor-Tape. This is then taped to the Lacey Square and then onto the other layers to make a medallion. Tape this to the strip running down the center of the card. Use blue ribbon to tye a bow and your card is finished. |
