Products Used on This Card Stamp 6 of the 3rd largest lily petal and 12 of the 2nd smallest lily petal with crimson copper brilliance ink. Sponge the centers of the petals with rose coral chalk ink and cut them out with the matching diecut. Fold each of the petals in half with a pretty strong crease so you achieve more dimension. Take a glue dot and arrange 6 of the same size petal in a circle. This will create 1 lg. lily and 2 small lilies. Cut out a white panel with the largest label1 nestie and layer a rose coral panel on top. Cut out and emboss the lg. decorative die and layer on top of the labels 1 layers. This creates a very elegant panel. Layer the flowers on top and add flower stamens in the center. Layer on coordinating c.s. Stamp multiple leaves with brilliance ivy, cut out with matching petal diecuts and sponge in color with thyme ink. |

Products Used on This Tag HCPC 3315 Lily Petals PreCut Set HCD 704 Perfect Petal Diecuts As you know, I love all things vintage and go in that direction any time I can. I see all kinds of possibilities with these new images from Heartfelt Creations. Stamp sentiments (these will release on 7/14/10) on Very Vanilla cardstock, then cut and emboss using the circle Nestabilities and assemble as shown. Again, stamp flower petals on Very Vanilla cardstock, and cut out with the matching Perfect Petal diecuts. I used glue to glue the flower centers together. When dry, airbrush with Copic Marker. Here I only stamped five petals for each layer because I only wanted it to appear behind the circles. I made the tag quite large (7x4 ¾”), so all of my elements would fit on the front. You can adjust for your needs. The rest of the tag is made by layering lace and ribbon, and some punched lace as well. I truly enjoy buttons and love adding to all of my projects. TIP: When you work with buttons, don’t forget to put some type of thread in the holes. It just helps make your projects look complete. |
| Attention: We have people ask, "where they can find the stamps we feature in our blog each week." Under the area where it says " Products Used On This Card," there are item # listed with the name of each stamp and if you click on the name or the item # you will be taken directly to that stamp on our website, and then you can add it to the cart. Leave a comment and tell me what you think about this weeks cards, or tell me a little about yourself, or where your from, or how you found our blog. The card designs are beautiful and look so delicate. You have a talented team of card makers. I live in IL, near St. Louis. My oldest son, Bradley (22) died Dec. 6, '09. I do have another son, Daniel (21). He has an opportunity to go to Cuba in Nov. Hubby and I are at 24 yrs. Too much info. right? :o) I found the blog awhile back. But I met you and hubby at the Collinsville convention. You are amazingly talented. b(dot) werts (at)sbcglobal (dot)net

bottom of the lily around it to form a calla lily, secure it with zip dry glue. I stamped some stems and leaves (these will release on 7/14/10) with Bamboo Leaves Memento ink, and attached it to the bottom of the calla lilies to create a stem bouquet. Cut a cream bazzil c.s. and stamp the lg elegant background on top with white colorbox ink and emboss with bridal embossing powder. Cut and emboss two of the lg. decorative corner in HCD 704 and layer one them on opposite corners on the cream c.s. panel. Layer the cream panel on a new sprout 4x5 card. Layer the flower and stems on top and add some white c.s. swirls and stamens in the calla lily centers. I love, love working with these lily petals, they are so versatile.

the smaller flowers on the side, use the same method, just fewer petals. Layer the petals as pictured. Stamp the stem and leaves (debuting 7/14/10) with ivy brilliance on white shimmer c.s., create a mask for the stems and leaves and stamp the lg. word background on top with colorbox white ink and emboss with bridal for a very elegant, yet subtle background. Layer everything as pictured. Stamp the scripture on vellum with eggplant colorbox. Add lg. pearls in the flower centers for the finishing accent.
