Heartfelt Creations Shopping Spree  --  Posted: Wednesday, Apr 28 2010

Hi Everyone,
Mother's Day is quickly approaching and a number of cards in today's post will give you creative ideas for the dear mother's in your life, or maybe if you're a mom and you might need to make a card to celebrate "you". This week we are having some fun over on the Heartfelt Creations Facebook Page. Post a card or scrapbook layout on our Facebook Page, using your favorite Heartfelt Creations stamps and you will be eligible to win a $25 online shopping spree. Have your card posted by next Tuesday, May 4, 6PM EST. Be creative and have fun it won't be luck that will win you the shopping spree, it will be your creativity:) The winner will be announced next Wednesday, May 5. Stamp multiple sizes of the Grandiflora Roses 1-2, and the large leafy swirl 2 times in black colorbox and heat emboss with detail clear. Cut out the roses with the matching blossom nestie, and cut the leaves out with scissors. Color with Copic Marker #YG03,

 BG96, BV08, B60, V15. Punch out a 6" circle on white c.s. using the rosebud multi shaper. Stamp the leafy swirls 2 times again directly on the white c.s. with ivy brilliance ink. Fold an orchid 12x12 paper in half, set the circle cutter to 6" and start cutting at the fold (and go all the way around) to create a folded circle card base. Layer everything together as pictured. Stamp the saying in black and when you set it on to the acrylic block force it to shape a slight curve, to alter the shape. Add half pearls to finish the card.

I made this little box with this cute little bear on top. Stamp the "For You Mother" bear in black and color with distress refills.I added some pink glitter to the flowers. Stamp the "Just For You" on white c.s. with black ink. Add the finishing touches to the box with beautiful lace, ribbon, charms, and pearls.

Stamp the "Cross With Lilies" in B;ack ink and color with the following Copic Markers: Y00-Barium Yellow, Y11-Pale Yellow, YG03-Yellow Green, YG63-Pea Green, YG11-Mignonette, Y19-Napoli Yellow, E33-Sand, E50-Egg Shell, E53-Raw Silk, Y21-Buttercup Yellow, Cool Gray No. 1, B00-Frost Blue. Cut the image out with the Mega Curved Rectangle Nesties and go around the edge with a gold leafing pen. Layer everything as pictured.

I love how this cardinal is so vibrant with color and how perfectly it matches with the background paper.

I have stamped the Cardinal image on watercolor with Archival ink.I then used my Labels 1 nestabilities to make my mat shape.The image was colored in with mainly twinkling h20's and then I went around the cherries with my glitter pen.  I used my scissors to rough up the edges as well! For my embellishment I tied a bow,placed a flower on it and then a button with twine. Finished card is 5x5.

I stamped the "Terracotta pot" and the "Single tulip" in black. Then, I colored in with prismacolor pencils and blended the colors with Odorless Mineral Spirits and sponged around with blue (Adirondack) craft inks. For sentiment I used vellum paper and stamp from "Mini Message Cursive" set. The border and corner of the card was made with a Martha Stewart border punch.To finish the card, I added some Stickles, border punch and piercings.

HCPC 2264 Swirl Mystique Butterfly

I made an Easel-card :) I used the Swirl Mystique set. The swirls are the big butterfly wings. I stamped them around the edges of the card. All the images were stamped with the Versamark pad and then I added Perfect pearls. I have added some gemstones, roses and a feather.The sentiment are also stamped with Watermark pad and added Perfect pearls Turquoise.
