Springtime Treasures  --  Posted: Wednesday, Apr 14 2010

Hi Everyone,
Springtime always brings new life and excitement to everything around us. In our neck of the woods, the trees are covered in flowers and showing off there true beauty. Everyone here at Heartfelt Creations is absolutely bursting at the seams with secrets! We are coming out with some fabulous new releases in a couple weeks...... make sure to stay tuned! Talking about new products, makes me think of a little funny tidbit I'll share with you. We recently purchased some smooch spritz to test it out and see if we like to work with it in the design room. Our shipping manager got a hold of a smooch spritz and the owners white poodle (a spoiled dog that loves to mingle with employees in production)  and for lack of a better surface, tinted the whole poodle in a nice shimmery pink! Believe me, this created quite the ruckus, so right now, we have a poodle modeling pink hair....I have to admit, it was quite creative and the poodle doesn't seem to know the difference. Heartfelt Creations will be represented in Mesa AZ and Albany NY this weekend. Until next Wednesday, have a creative week! Emma Lou

Each layer of the flower is a stamp out of the Grandiflora Rose 1 and 2, stamped on cardstock, and cut out.  The little Rosebud is so cute, and a lot of fun to put together.  The bottom layer is all green, then I stamped the little bud again on pink cardstock, cut it out and attached to the green cardstock.  The rest of the card is the same as all other cards, except the green wire.  I wrapped it around a paint brush handle, and stretched it out as shown, and glued in place. Stamp pads used wereVictorian Velvet, Forest Moss Ranger Distress Ink, Pitch Black Ranger Adirondack Dye Pad. Cardstock: Eva - BasicGrey 6 X 6” Paper Pad – Eclectic Paperie. Layer on the Labels Twelve Nestabilities™.

This beautiful "Grad Bouquet" is perfect for a graduation card or a confirmation card.  I have painted it with distressink refills. Decorated the card with lovely papers from Maja design, beautiful lace, ribbon, pearls, silver metalic corner and flowers. I used a border punch Floral Lace to make a lace under the white lace with ribbon :)   Inside the card I used the grad text.  The text is perfect together with the Bouquet stamp:)
