Happy Wednesday  --  Posted: Wednesday, Apr 07 2010

Hi Everyone,
Good news....the Gala Glitz and Elements are online now. These products are in stock and ready to ship. These are the products we use in the flower centers. Click here and here to check it out. Heartfelt Creations will be represented in Allentown PA and St. Louis MO, so make sure you see us if you're from that area. This week I personally have a little something different to showcase that I thought ya'll might like....a creative Easter cookie (no our blog has not been hijacked) we have this joke that if we wouldn't be in the stamp and scrapbook industry we would be gourmet chefs! Back to business; we also have cards and layouts created by our fabulous design team. Have a great week, Emma Lou

Ingredients:
7" Baked Sugar Cookies
Yellow Buttercream Frosting
Green Coconut
Assorted JellyBeans
Marshmallow Peeps

My mom always made a ton of these cookies at Easter when I was a kid and brought them to school for each of the kids in my class. Everyone thought I had the coolest mom around and so did I, this was our special tradition at Easter. Since all of us kids are grown and no grandkids in the family she hadn't made these in quite a few years. This year, I asked my brother (who's in college at FIT in NY) if he remembers those cookies, and he said, "oh yes, and he would just absolutely kill for another one of those, in fact, he wants one of mom's 14 course meals about now!" That's out of the mouth of a kid that is on college food and desperately needs some mommy food. So I decided to see if I could recreate those cookies exactly like my kid mind remembered. Mom gave me the recipe and I proceeded to make them. They were so much fun (a lot like making a card except you can eat it). So maybe this is something you will want to try next Easter, I'm sure your kids will love you forever....And there is a box of these cookies being shipped to my brother in NY. They won't last long, because there are too many college food deprived kids who inhale food and help him empty his box within the hour. If you can identify with a food deprived, college kid all you need to do is this, very simple: be one of the first 10 ladies to place a $500 retail order today and I will ensure that you will receive one of these! I'm trying to put the stakes up so that  I don't have to make more, they do create a huge mess, and I don't like to clean messes.

This weeks cards are gorgeous. I'm not sure how I found your site. I am a scenic stamper, but something must have caught my eye. The flowers above are out of this world gorgeous and I really like that butterfly.
