Hi Everyone,

The thing I love the most is when you click on a card in the gallery it will take you to a page with detailed instructions and the products that were used. Check back to the gallery often, because we're constantly adding cards. This weekend Heartfelt Creations will be featured at the Stamp Scrap Madison Convention. Come check us out! This is one of our last locations of this year.
Enjoy this weeks cards and may God richly bless you and yours...we'll catch up with ya'll next Wednesday, Emma Lou

562F Clematis Spray
1288B Christmas Greeting
990B Wishing You

I love clematis vines, and thought it would be fun to paint this one as a poinsettia instead. I used markers for my base red color and watercolor pencils to shade. The centers are acrylic paint dotted with a small stylus. (**note to self** - wait a little longer next time! The yellow paint soaked up some watercolor that was not quite dry.)  I ran the card base through my Zipemate with a piece of plastic canvas (you know the kind for needlepoint crafts). I've kept that canvas on my desk to use as a guide for piercing and eyelet placement - turns out it works as an embossing plate as well! Great cheap trick. On the inside panel, I stamped the floral image again with Brilliance Rocket Red ink.

1032G Candy Cane

I used markers to color the stamp, then stamped on to watercolor paper. I did this twice ( to have 2 images exactly the same) I used the inks from the markers to watercolor in one of the images using a #3 paintbrush. I set it aside to dry, after it's dry I used Nestabilities Labels 8 to cut out, and sponged the edges. I also cut a solid red of the next larger size.  Then I colored only the holly leaves of the second image.  I cut out each leaf , then cut out the candy cane.  I layered the cut out (uncolored) candy cane on top of the fully colored image to mask it, and color dusted Antique Linen Distress ink over the image. This antiques the background, so when you lift off the candy cane, the white parts stay white.  I glued the cut out leaves in place and added stickles.  The designer paper is from Die Cuts With a View- Holiday Stack (180 sheets)  the horizontal strip is layered-Ivory cardstock with sponged edges, the green grosgrain ribbon, then red velveteen rick rack.
